I've been listening to this song since yesterday, and man is it good. It's so different from their other stuff, that it took me a bit to really catch on to what they were doing... but I totally love this song now.

I can't wait for the rest of the album!

I agree with other's sentiments that the guitar seems somewhat out of place, but I like the the song overall.

It's decent as Coldplay will always provide an enjoyable listen. However, it sounds kind of derivative. Which was always my main hang up with them.

Coldplay performed on the MTV Movie Awards tonight, they were awesome!! I am praying I get tickets to the concert. I hope to get a few extra in case anyone needs them, so if I do, i'll post it on this thread. Keeping my fingers crossed and waiting for the announcement of ticket sale date!

I think that first single is horrible. They seem to be trying way to hard to branch out now, and they aren't good enough to do that. They are not a U2 or Radiohead level band and should stick to what they do best, which is simple songs with good melodies. Their last album had some signs of trying to hard as well, for every good song their was a dismal WDF kind of song. Now this new single is just atrocious. They need to stop trying to live up to their own hype.

I don't like either single, and I usually love Coldplay (older songs like The Scientist and Yellow, though)

Really? I liked it. Not going to change the world but it's hardly atrocious. Both songs are really starting to grow on me. Each to their own I guess.
