I'm not unhappy with the rain for a few of reasons...
The first is that I burnt a nice 2by2 patch in the middle of my lawn before the rain started. A log tipped out of the fire pit and my friends were to drunk to care. I stamped it out with freakin sandals on.

The second is that my neighbor is an ignorant old man who never waters his lawn or large spruce tree, which is subsequently killing half of my half of the lawn.

Third is that a couple weeks ago I bought a new lawnmower from home depot when they had them 10% off, but of course they were sold out of the model I wanted so I'm still waiting for it to arrive. I dont want to mow my lawn with the nasty old mower if I dont have to.

Besides, everyone just has to look cool around here and joke about Edmonton. Yep, awful place to live. Tons of work, great neighbourhoods, my house doubled in value in the last year. Yep...just awful... |

And I agree! Extremely dire! Beer goes best with sunshine!

For about the last hour the storm has sat right on our doorstep W/SW. Pretty weird. I suspect it will start moving in anytime, but it could also just fizzle out and we could just see showers. Hard to tell right now.

After having lived in Vancouver for awhile, I can definitely see the benifits of a rainy May/June. It's true, it will likely get very dry in Aug/Sep, so might as well enjoy the green grass now. Until the Elbow and Bow go over their banks like they did in 2005, I say keep that rain'a'comin!
