What's burning in the NE?

I see a big dark cloud of smoke rising from the NE on my way home westward in my rear view mirror. I didn't see it coming home on Deerfoot. Anyone in the area know what's burning up? Looks pretty big.

I just left work from the SE (Erinwoods area) and didn't see anything when I left at 4:30 pm.

I hear it's a tire shop on 52nd that went up.

CFD does controlled burnings for training at the airport all the time... that could explain the NE one... maybe.

Its a scrap yard/auto wreck yard right across from the Co-op Warehouse on 52 st between Erin Woods and 17 Ave SE. There's actually an air quality advisory put out from the city....

The Calgary Fire Department would like to advise any citizens
in the area of 52 Street and 30th Avenue S.E to remain

so that's what it was, I could see it way up in the NW and it looked like it could have been emanating from the east part of DT.

That would explain why they had 52nd blocked off from Erinwoods Drive by the 7-Eleven to where ever on my way home from work. I know I saw a whole bunch of smoke at the Best Buy in Deerfoot Meadows where I work, didn't think it was close to where I lived, though.
