Sad Day In Quebec

Well, the news is out, and so are the Nordique.

I have talked to HO, and they understand that I'm upset, but I understand why it was done. The league is better off without those teams, and I am guarenteed a team when one comes available.

The Quebec Nordique, everyone from day one, to the last game against Goffie's Penguins in the 2nd round of the last playoff, were a fun ride to say the least. Bringing in such players as Roberto Luongo, Jaromir Jagr, Markus Naslund, Todd Bertuzzi, Eric Lindros (on his death bed) when I started out with Stu Barnes was a fun experiment.

So I sit, and wait. I'll be back somewhere.

Sorry for your loss Protto. I can understand how that would be tough to swallow, but you'll be back very soon with a solid team I'm sure!
