Well, I tried the Clear Care stuff. And it seemed to work...for about an hour. And now it's gone back to the same as it was before. Maybe I need a new prescription or something. Thanks anyways everyone.

Probably need a new Contact lens material then... the main purpose of switching to clearcare was to rule out solutions as the culprit

Hey Hesla, I use the Clear Care and I usually get it from Costco. You get two monster bottles with it but only one case. The two bottles that I get are at like 3 months now and I had an evening where I let the lenses sit in the case for like 12 hours and it felt like the solution didn't react at all. I also notice that when I put the solution in the case it doesn't seem to be reacting with the disc in the case at a very quick rate. I seem to remember in the old days that you needed to replace the case every month or so, so I assume that is what happens is that the disc from the case should be replaced. I went and bough a smaller thing of solution to get a new case and it seems to be okay. Can I just buy the old AOSept discs and cases and use them with clear care solution. I still have a couple bottles...but not enough cases.

I wouldnt use the AOsept discs as they are not designed for use with ClearCare... one of my issues with clearcare is that their cases seem to vary in the amount of time they are good for. At the pharmacy you can usually find a case without solution.... Clearcare cannot be used with a separate case/disc system to the best of my knowledge. You can also usually get little mini-travel bottles that will come with a case as well.

Thanks, it is a bit goofy that you can buy a single 240ml bottle and it comes with one case, or even a travel size one thats like 120ml. But you buy the monster with like two 500ml bottles and it comes with one case too.

Yup... it is strange... i usually recommend staying away from it because you usually have to buy an extra case. Weird.
