Default QMJHL Playoffs

It's a round late, however here's a Recap:

Patrick Roy and his son Jonathan went nuts.

In other goalie news, the Los Angeles Kings top goaltending prospect Jonathan Bernier was one of the only players to show up for Lewiston and finished his junior career last night at Centre200 in Sydney.

Here's the highlights of Bernier's final game, and my team's game 6 over time victory:

And now to rekindle the Battle of Nova Scotia. You're going down HD

When ever someone says get rid of fighting in junior hockey, I can't help but think how it's more than part of the game. From the good ole days when the Battle of Nova Scotia was more than just a battle, it was a war, even in the pregame warmups:

RIMOUSKI has been chosen to host the 2009 Memorial Cup.

Great news for those of us who support smaller-market teams!

Sea Dogs now up 3-1 on the Titan... hopefully they can close it out Saturday night at home

OT - how our head coach didn't win coach of the year is beyond me... from worst in the CHL last year to tied for first in our division in the Q this year... brutal

you can watch Hugo Carpentier play here in the Q playoffs (totally legal)

edit. so Carpentier's Huskies win again. They are now 10-0 in the playoffs. Hugo had another goal and assists tonight giving him 10G 3A so far

I sure would like Hugo to turn out to be a player. Then, Darryl will send todd to french class.

How about the Marc Andre Bourdon for the Huskies, man i woudn't mind tabbing that cat later in the 2nd or 3rd.

Hugo's Huskies just can't lose. 8-1 tonight. Huskies are 11-0 in the playoffs and Carpentier had 3 goals tonight giving him 13G 3A for 16 points in the playoffs

Huskies sweep the third series in a row and will likely play Gatineau in the finals (Gatineau leads their series 3-0)

Carpentier contributed again with 2A giving him 13G 5A 18Pts in just 12 playoff games

Get him signed Darryl
