Entourage help

I'm trying to set up Entourage Email on my mac but it's not working, so Im hoping you guys could lend a hand.

I'm trying to link it to my Mount Royal email but I'm getting the error:

Entourage cannot find the server. Verify the server information is entered correctly in the Account Settings, and that your DNS settings in the Network pane of System Preferences are correct.

The Server I typed in was wireless connection that I'm connected to at home (which I am on right now).

I don't know what DNS settings are though, maybe thats my problem.

Hopefully someone can help me out. TIA

yea I'm in the computer information systems degree at mt royal and I dont think they will provide you with the DNS

So thats the problem? If I set it up with a gmail/hotmail account I won't have the same problem? What is the DNS though?

Not sure, I wish I knew too, it would be nice cause the mymrc email is just awful.

Don't know about Mt Royal but it's probably similar to setting up Gmail in an external client:

The error with your DNS server just means that the host you typed in as the email server is not resolving into an IP address. You may have the incorrect mail server link. Keep in mind, you need to have POP or IMAP access into Mt. Royal's servers in order for this to work.
