I was listening to Seattle radio today driving around town. The (few) fans of this team are completely disgusted with the effort last night. This team is an embarrassment to the league and professionalism in sport. The owners of the team should attempt to withhold paychecks...The players do not deserve a single cent of what they're making.

I remember the days when scores in the 130's were fairly common. I don't even watch the NBA anymore. It's a spread the floor and go one on one game now. Hate it. The product pales in comparison to the college game.

thw owners have gutted the team so they can move it to Oklahoma City. They're the ones who shouldn't get a paycheck.

How do you figure? Seattle hasn't supported them, and the owners are making a business decision. It's a messy situation, but the job of the team is to play your best. Simple as that.

they're holding the city hostage. The arena was upgraded 10 years ago to the tune of $200 million and now they want new digs for free? Gimme a break. The sweetheart deals American owners get are a joke.

Then there's the fact that the owners were being sued by the city, because the Sonics' lease at KeyArena doesn't expire until 2010.
Heck even the Thunderbirds are getting a new place to play!

I remember watching basketball when I was a wee little one and it was rare for teams to score 48 points in a game.
Whenever you bounced the ball it didn't come back to you. The goal judge had to poke the ball out of the basket with a stick.
It was all 5 foot tall white guys shooting a medicine ball at a basket with no backboard, and if your team lost your Captain gave up his head.
And you couldn't use your hands, it was elbows, knees and feet.

The Heat only scored 54 points in the entire game last night vs. TOR.
What a lame name for a team. Ooooh, look out - it's THE HEAT.
