Don't mind their stuff, but can't stand that a huge majority of people get all offended when you say you don't like their stuff.

Whaaat? I know this is that kind of thread... but wow...

I hate the Hip, ACDC, U2, and the obvious Theory of a Nickel Creed.

I think you've raised a different point altogether. It really bugs me when people get offended when I don't love certain types of music. For example, I wasn't overly found of Zeppelin for a long time and people almost got angry with me when I said that. Seriously, I can have my own taste in music, I'm pretty sure that's allowed.

That being said, now that I've listened to Zeppelin more, I've come to appreciate his music. It's not my favourite, but I don't mind it now.

I agree. I wish they would play some of the stuff of the original album. Last American Exit, Small Town Bringdown, Highway Girl - all great tunes that never get played.

Led Zepplin, AC/DC and the Rolling Stones are right near the top of my list. Though I do like a couple Stones' songs.

they've been mentioned, but Rush is a band that I absolutely can't stand.
While not hated, I don't "get" the arcade fire. Broken social scene is also in this category. I get a lot of weird looks when I discuss my distaste for both bands.

Off the top of my head
 Led Zepplin
 Bon Jovi
 Metallica
 U2
 AC DC (kinda)
Neutral Milk Hotel (I know they aren’t up the most famous but I don’t understand why people enjoy them)
 Jack Johnson
 Likin Park
 Nickleback
 Creed
 Greenday
 Sumbline
 Pantera
 Rush
 AFI
 NIN
 Tool

I can think of some more

I agree with every single artist mentioned with the exception of Radiohead, NIN, and Tool. Well, maybe not Tool. I kinda disagree about Tool, J Pold. Kinda.
I'll throw RHCP into the mix as well. Was never crazy about them.
 How about the Killers? uuuugh...
that new-ish band....Against Me! Can't understand what's so special (or even what's so un-godawful) about them.

			Led Zepplin for me
Jimmy Page just drives me nuts, hate his playing and for some reason I just don't feel it. One of the main reason why I'll never be seen playing a Les Paul. Robert Plant didn't bug me as much as Page but there was still this thing about him that was the opposite of what I "thought" music is about.

I am and was a fan of The Pink Floyd, and Zepplin was the complete opposite. A great band but just not my thing and i could never understand the attachment to them by others

I can't stand the crap that the music snobs nowadays promote as the best stuff out there:

Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire, Alexionfire etc.

Basically if you are underground, "hip" and popular with 20-30 year olds that think they are 100x times cooler for listening to you and 1,000,000x smarter, you suck.

I never quite got that one either. Their songs make Nickelback sound deep.
