What the hell is going on?

Isles keep winning, but yet so does every one else...

Isles have great chemistry right now... good thing I made a trade!! I'm good at GM-ing!

Thrashers blow a 5-2 3rd period lead and tie the Sharks 5-5 as the Sharks got a late 5 minute powerplay as Steve Staios got 5 minutes for kicking? Wdf? Thrashers defenseman Darryl Sydor and Luke Richardson sat out the game with an injury and now Derian Hatcher gets hurt in this game. Brad Stuart is also fatigued. You may see a bunch of ahl'ers in the lineup for tomorrow vs the Capitals. Scott Walker led the way offensively with 3 points.

Ducks win 2 in a row, 5-4-1 in our last 10, has to be the best 10 games of the year lol. Tanguay does well in his final game as a Duck picking up a couple assists. Dipietro didnt do that well but played well enough to get the W which is all that matters.

Pens win a nailbiter against a top team in the hawks. Nitty stands on his head and gets 1st star as the Pens manage to win without Spezza. Bad news is that Whitney was knocked out but at least Spezza is almost ready to come back.

Well, the Habs put in a reasonably strong effort. Good to see Jokinen and AO hook up for their first points as linemates. Hopefully that's a sign of things to come.

A 4-2 loss against a tough Caps team playing our backup goaltender isn't anything to hang our heads over. Let's hope we can rebound tomorrow against the Preds.

Leafs beat Preds 4-3.

Big win for the Leafs on a night when basically every team around us got 2 points. We took a 3-1 lead to the 3rd period and hung on. Only allowed 19 shots so Lundqvist didn't have to be great (and he wasn't).

4 different goal scorers is a positive- that's 3 very good offensive efforts in a row.

So that's 2 wins in a row and 3 wins out of 4 games. Hopefully we keep that going. Jackets come to town tomorrow.

Well, that was more or less a terrible game for the Devils, finally with a full complement of players back on the ice. Move along, boys, move along.

This just in...The Preds suck!! We dropped another one tonight to the Maple Leaves. We have a few guys who are going for us, but can't keep the puck out of our own net.

One nice positive though...the PP was 100% tonight!

Avs pick up a single point - but so do the teams ahead of them. They remain one -point back of the final playoff spot in the Howe but now have a well-rested squad, including Huet who should be ready to string together a few wins.

Needing a big win the Flyers came out a laid an egg. As usual for the Flyers it was their top players who were the worst and Dominic Hasek again was absolute crap out there.

It was awesome to see that the team gave up 3 late 3rd period goals in four minutes to give the game away. The season low point should come tomorrow with a home loss to the woeful Jets. Philly fans can hardly wait to see how the team manages to embarrass themselves in that game.

Not that there are many guys that are attractive or that anyone seems to want any of the Flyers but there are plenty of guys available for teams that actually plan on making the play-offs. Nylander, Modano, Mcdonald, Selanne, Pandolfo, Shanahan, Blake, Hasek, Pronger could all help a team win that elusive CPHL Cup (or whatever it is called in this league).

Default Injury Bug is now a plague!!!!

Woof!

Win another lose 2 more. Someone upstairs does not like Phoenix, 2 more injuries.

Friday night the Yotes beat the Jets 4-2 however lose Prospal and Kubina. Handzus had a 4 point night while Rucinsky had 3.

Over the last 11 games we have had 9 injuries, Come on!!!

Islanders - Chris Neil injured at 12:26 of the 3rd Period
Canes - No injuries
Bolts - Kyle Calder injured at 05:21 of the 3rd Period
Avs - No injuries
Wings - Andrew Alberts injured at 12:40 of the 3rd Period
Pens - Pavel Kubina injured at 00:17 of the 1st Period
-------Colin White injured at 03:37 of the 2nd Period
Kings - No injuries
Wild - Alexei Ponikarovsky injured at 00:30 of the 1st Period
Ducks - No injuries
Pens - Josef Vasicek injured at 00:57 of the 2nd Period
Jets - Vaclav Prospal injured at 18:55 of the 2nd Period
-------Pavel Kubina injured at 11:45 of the 3rd Period

These are players that have had to be placed on IR, these are not "tired" instances, I don't think I even want to count that high. It is out of control as well, for example Toskala already had a 100 CD, we had the past 2 days off, he only faced 21 shots and is now a 98 CD. I don't get it???

I'm now off to sacrifice a goat, an Oiler fan and a Canuck fan to the gods........

Starting our backup goalie and having two of our top d-men out I'll take the tie against a tough Minny team. Eric Cole with 3 points in his last game as a Wings, what a trooper.

NJ tomorrow, not sure what goalie gets the nod. Both are ready to collapse at any time.

Welcome to my world. Same thing happened to me as Turco dropped to a 98. Its now been 4 days since he last played and he is still pulling a Marc D'Amour.

Good come from behind win, a tired fernandez was solid, and wellwood led the way with 2 points (good pickup as i keep saying)
Still a few too many shots against, but when you forget to send lines in, its your fault.. oops
Finally looking good again for panthers fans as the rebounded after a short fall.

Second tie this week versus Hotlanta. Considering they are leading the league, I'll take that as a boost in confidence in this Sharks team!

Nice balanced scoring throughout the lines and another big comeback win, but we need to stop getting behind early. Seems most of our wins are come from behinds and a great team should be able to get the lead first and hold it.
