Of course this is nothing like the cartoons!

A Hamas TV show for children which was condemned last year for a Mickey Mouse lookalike character who encouraged terror attacks against Israelis has produced a new outrage - a Bugs Bunny lookalike who declares "I will eat the Jews".

Well, Hamas hadn't done anything truly despicable for a few days, so they had to keep their average up. Unbelievable. It would be laughable if it weren't so awful.

I have to say, though, that Daily Mail looks like kind of a rag.

Wow, that's actually pretty smart the way they brainwash: Create a character, get kids to fall in love with him, and then have him 'killed off' by Israelis. Replace him with another cute character who vows vengence. It's a vicious cycle that kinda parrallels what happens with real Hamas leaders.

Can you imagine watching sesame street and suddenly big bird is offed by commies? That would have screwed me up for life.

I think Sesame Street was written by commies. Or hippies, anyway.

They probably would have had Big Bird get offed by Nixon. But the effect would be the same.

Ahh, this is no different than from Popeye or G.I. Joe, among other pro-American cartoon creations designed to motivate and conserva-tize the younger generations.

You want to see a really racially-shocking cartoon? Look up the Popeye episode "You're a Sap, Mr. Jap", and you're jaw will be dropping faster than you can say 'Spinach.'

And G.I. Joe wasn't created to "conserva-tize" the youth, it was created to sell toys.

All I'm saying is that there are other parties in this world who are guilty for the same influencing techniques as Hamas is. It should be nothing new.

Haha, I'm not fragile at all. I just am beginning to know the difference between a free state and one that is governed by a tyranny.

There are elements of jingoism in all states, true. And the propaganda films made by Warner Bros. etc... during World Wars are pretty disgusting. However, to direct this at children and manipulate their emotions in such a way that encourages them to commit their lives to a cause that they don't understand. It's disgusting.

Things like this just swing me fully back to the Israeli side.

really? i think its just perspective.

Jews are villians in Palestine. Just as we view Arabs as villians in our tv programs. When they see us doing that, they probably have the same view that how dare we stereotype them.

It does create a viscious circle, but even as a jewish person, the character doesnt really offend me. I just feel sorry for the population who dont know any better.
