Isles tie a strong Florida team as Hedberg of all people stops 36 of the 38 shots he faced for his second straight victory.
As has been the case of late, the Isles are rising to the challenge, but it may be a little too late with only a handful of games to go and teams ahead continuing to pick up points as well.

Frick...I screwed that up. Sorry Kev...I thought I changed to Ward...but I didn't. At least Hedberg got you a tie.
Second time this year my team has jumped to a 4-0 first period lead against the Senators....And second time we ended up giving up 5 goals in the game. Thankfully we at least scored 2 more today to get the win. Talk about doing things the hard way.

No worries dude! You're like 4-1-2 since submitting for me lol... I can't complain and definitely appreciate your help.
Hedberg stopped 36 shots lol... not sure if Ward would have been able to do the same.

Wow, the Devils sure lost this one for themselves ... blew a 2-goal lead, allowed a goal with 3 seconds left in the first, and then allowed the Wild three straight goals within 4 minutes of each other. Oh well ... poop happens!

Brad Isbister acquired along time ago finally gets into a game and responds with a goal.
Nice gritty effort, and despite our problems we have closed the gap on the Kings, Blues and Hawks in the conference.

im pretty sure 2-2 is a TIE
After some lackluster performances in the Shots for-against in past few games, its nice to outshoot them 38-18, however, we did not get the win
wellwood remains hot, I think he's only not got a point in 1 panther game so far... fernandez was good enough, but our PP sucked a lot.... we could of won it if we went more than 1 for 8.

Pens have a masterful performance winning 7-2 on the road, seemed like a team effort with 12 players getting points. Standouts were recent additions Pahlsson and stud Dman Komisarek (1st star)
Maybe I should do the Pens lines more often! (Even though I didnt change them at all)

good result for us, again we win when we get outshot and lose when we outshoot. Fedotenko really on fire for us since we switched him back to RW, and Tobias Enstrom had his first really good CPHL game, after struggling a bit

A poor performance for the Predators tonight. Despite outshooting the Sabres by four we lose by four. Lehtonen did not look good for us, but no goaltender has this season! In other news however, Doug Weight continued his hot streak and looks like a young man in the Preds silks!

Leafs beat by Rags, 6-5.
Another bad game out of the Leafs. Once again we had some aspects of our game going right, while others were just terrible. Tonight the weak link was Lundqvist.
The offense tried to get us a point out of this game. Down 3-0 early in the 2nd period, we got it back to a one goal game. And then down 6-2 early in the 3rd period, we again got it back to a one goal game. But we couldn't even it up either time. We did have 38 shots, including 33 in the last 2 periods, but it wasn't enough. Lundqvist allowed 5 goals on 18 shots before getting pulled. John Grahame then let up the eventual game winner despite facing only 5 shots.
Not sure what our record is since early January but it's got to be terrible. We've fallen from 4th to 9th and sit 2 points out of the playoffs. Even worse we're only 4 points ahead of 13th place. Some changes definitely need to be made between now and the deadline.

Ouch! Goffie's Goons do it again.
We may have lost 7-2 but we did win the war.
Last meeting the Pens resulted in injures to both Colin White and Pavel Kubina. Penguin Jason Spezza got a game misconduct for a vicious hook.
Last night Colin White got revenge with a wicked CLEAN body check that sent Spezza into the boards. Jason is now day-to-day with a 86 CD rating.
The dirty Pens then went right back to their lame play by injuring Vasicek with a nasty boarding incident. Chris Higgins received a game misconduct for his cheap hit from behind.
I am now starting the Anti-Penguin movement in the CPHL! Go Everyone Else Go!
