What a game though. Earlier on ESPN Erik Eslias (sp?) was talking about if the Giants were going to win this one - they would need "a play" - one of those moments that would go down in history as one of the top Super Bowl moments of all time.

That play by Eli definitely fits that description. Unreal.
Agreed what manning pulled off there was incredible.

Also just as incredible was the catch by Thymes(sp?)

David Tyree, what a grab! That was the best play of the Superbowl.

And I guess Burress was wrong after all.

The Giants never held the Pats to 17........it was 14!
So nice to see him get the winning TD. Couldn't have been wrote up any better then that. In terms of excitement I think that was the best Superbowl i've ever watched. My favorite obviously was last year's because my team won(Colts) but this game was back and forth at the end. So exciting!
Congrats ELI! I am so happy for him!

That's the only part of this I don't like. We still have to hear those ######bag '72 Dolphins and their fans crow about having the only perfect season. It wouldn't bother me if some of them weren't so damn arrogant about it.

Oh well, way to go Giants!!

It was pretty gratifying to see the Giants win tonight. I wasn't really cheering for either team when I tuned in, but within the 1st Quarter I was on the Giants bandwagon.

Yeah the whole sequence was incredible. Up to that point I really didn't care who won - but after that play I thought it would've been a shame if it didn't lead to a win.

Not even close. The Dolphins won the big game and the Pats came up short. Patriots might have won more games, but the Fins won the one that matters most

Patriots still deserve a ton of credit for what truly was an amazing season that had me entertained all year even if it was praying for them to lose.

Eli Manning is now a New York legend no matter what he does from now on. Brady has so much class, I just wish he could give some to his coach. They havn't announced it yet but looks like another Manning will win the superbowl MVP. Couldn't be happier for Strahahn, one of the best guys in the league.

The Patriots can still keep there heads up, a record breaking year.

I will say this, as much as I enjoy watching the trophy presentation and loved seeing Elway hoist two of them, the way they do it in the NFL (and any other league) is just nothing compared to the presentation of the Stanley Cup.

No question. The Giants defense was the reason the Giants won the game. That was one of the best defensive games i've ever seen watching football. They stopped the Patriots every drive except for 2. What a game. The Patriots defense was really good as well and I will give them credit too.

I believe they would have had the final score been 10-7

Yeah, that play of Manning to Tyree is one of those plays that will be a top 10 in Superbowl history type of play. The ultimate act of desparation coming up roses, first Manning with only 1 timeout escapes a sure sack and than throws up a prayer and Tyree goes up and gets it, secures it mid air against his helmet and holds on to the ball with the defender and one of the hardest hitters in Harrison all over him. Than it sets up Burress for the game winning TD after his big prediction.

I'm glad I'm too chicken to bet, or I'd be packing up my belongings and moving out of my house because I just gambled it away. That Giants defence has huge today though, getting pressure on Brady he had no time to throw the ball.

My thoughts exactly. Umenura (sp?) I thought deserved it, he was pressured 23 times!! unreal.

Good on the Giants, the only reason I was happy to see them in the SuperBowl is because they played their balls off in a nothing game on Dec.30.

Will this become a trend? Are teams going to stop resting their starters? Let's hope....if so I think we might be saying CONGRATS TO THE CLEVELAND BROWNS (okay, let's hope next year
