Whatever! Seriously, the Pats will destroy the Giants today and this type of crap just adds fuel to the fire.

That was not against the rules then.
It has only been a rule starting THIS season.

I'm totally not surprised by this! Patsies will always be an excellent team in my mind, but the fact that they cheated, they will never be respected by me.

I'm not surprised they were looking for any type of edge in the least. It wasn't against the rules so it wasn't cheating. You know your team is being innovative when the league has to make up rules to stop you from doing the things you've done. The Pats coaching staff has always been a step ahead of the pack and it's a reason why they've had the success they have.

EVERYONE STEALS SIGNALS!!!
the difference is they used video, I remember at 11 years old, playing in the provincial final we had 2 signal callers, one real, one decoy. AT ELEVEN!
can you imagine what they'll do in the NFL.

This is ridiculous.
#1 - it wasn't against the rules then.
#2 - THIS VERY INCIDENT was already investigated by the league to see if any rules were broken. None were, so the case was closed. It is being re-brought up now since they couldn't find anything else to bring up just before the game to throw the Patriots off.
#3 - Videotaping other coaches making signals is *STILL* legal - just videotaping them from the sidelines is NOT. Stealing signals is still part of the game, just like in baseball.
#4 - The Patriots not being respected by a Dolphins fan. Oh dear. I don't think anyone is shedding a tear.

Funny that I bet half of you so called pats fans weren't fans when the team was 1-15!. I wonder who you're new team will be in 5 years when the pats will be losing.
Don't cut me up because I'm a dolphins fan. If I was a fan of any team. I'd still not be surprised.
Sure it wasn't against the rules then, like you say. So why were they still doing it till they caught. They were cheating this year, they still may be cheating.
Once a cheat always a cheat, isn't that the saying?
Don't get me involved just cause I'm a dolphin fan, enjoy your patsie run and I'll see you on our bandwagon one day when we're a top.

It really amazes me how bitter you still are. But it will only get worse for you when the Pats are 19-0 after tonight.
Someone pays the Pats a complement and you're all over them crying about being a bandwagon fan. Please - grow up. People are allowed to respect other teams without being a fan.
But today is a day to celebrate. Your last day on top as a Fish fan. You can also take pride in people like yourself being the reason people are hoping for the Pats to win tonight. Arrogant Dolphin fans like yourself bitching and crying and clinging to their '72 fame.

anyone who doesn't think every team doesn't have 5 people in the frickin stands with a Blackberry and a camera is fooling themselves. Signs are stolen all the time. It happens in high school, in college and yes, in the pros. And any team who keeps the same signs are idiots.

Don't start with me, I just gave my opinion in this thread.
Are we not allowed to do that?
Anyways best of luck to your patsies.

I thin kthe pats are an excellent football team don't get me wrong.
What I hate is how the patsie fans think the 72 dolphins are garbage, thats when I get defensive.
Arrogant, I am not. Do I hate the pats yes I do
Do you want to know why I hate the Pats, becasue there everything the dolphins are not they are good.
They probably will be 19-0 and they will join the dolphins club of perfect.
But when people say move over Miami we're better than you now, that's arrogant. I was defending my dolphins in a post.
I'm just saying they did cheat, did it help them who knows, and nobody will ever know.
When patsie fans grow up, I'm sure you'll see others, patsie fans are arrogant, trust me, I've been a fan of the AFC East forever. I'm sure some dolphin fans are arrogant as well.
But the patsies are hated because they are that good. You should take that as a compliment, just stop saying the 72 dolphins are going to be quiet now, you know what they won't be quiet, they'll be louder now, because a lot of loud mouth patsie players will be part of the perfect group.
Before you judge me, ask me what I think of the pats

Had an idea!

Nobody is saying that the '72 Miami team is garbage.
We just want a team from our generation to make history.

If people think that Pats fan are going to any better must not have been paying attention to this season.
Pats, even ones that I normally respect as good, solid long time Pats fans, have been worse than any other fan of any team in any sport that I have seen and they haven't won anything yet.
To have to listen to these losers yap about the greatest team ever will make Mercury Morris and the 72 Dolphins look like a model of humble, low-key behaviour.

Glad to see the majority of the previous posters eating their words.. I agree with moon, so many Pats fans have gone beyond cocky in the last couple of years, especially this season.. I was shocked to see all the bandwagon Pats fans at the pub tonight.. I bet we'll hear the knees clicking tomorrow at work as they try and deny their allegiance to the biggest bed wetters in nfl history.. Oh and to add, the 72' Dolphins didnt have a ######bag coach that would go beyond cheating to win, what a classless pos at the end of the game.. Awww hoodie, guess your still not in the same stratosphere as Shula yet.. *sniff*
EDIT: I guess Belichick wasnt all that classless after all.. I missed the handshake until the paper this morning, but saw him storm out with a min or two left..

It was absolutely against the rules. It was a closed practise. The league allows for that closed practise the day before the SB. Football gods set them straight tonight.
