Valentine's Day thread
Alright. Some might think it's early for this but those are the guys that call flower shops on the 13th and are shocked to find they won't take any more orders.
So post your ideas, questions, whatever in here.
Here's my question. How can I get flowers delivered to an apartment with a door buzzer when in all probability she won't be home at the time?

This is my first Vday with a steady girlfriend. Some suggestions from the ladies on what they like/expect would be nice.

You could never afford what they like or expect.

cut hole in box... put junk in box... present to girlfriend.
Honestly, it depends on the girl. Some hate Vday with a passion, some want to be treated like a princess. Wine and chocolates are my preference over flowers... flowers are so overdone. Plus, it shows more personalization... and you get a snack.

As long as it's the "good kind" of threesome.

Don't get me started on that. Apparently he's coming in June now and she asked me if I thought it would be better if he came the week I'm out of town so that he would be "more comfortable".

Not true. Flowers aren't overdone. Ask a girl how often she gets flowers and most of the time the answer is "not enough".
But seriously, guys. Apartment complex. Door buzzer. HELP!

Whoa! I'm not jealous guy, but I would become a stalker if my GF wanted her ex to be "more comfortable", when I'm not around.

In my humble experience, girls love flowers... but not on valentine's day... its "too expected" and it makes them feel like we're going through the paces. Personally I like the girls who say F@(k Valentine's Day, lets just go out that friday. Of course, lots of girls are different.

Send them to her work/ class...deliver them yourself...hire a burglar to break in and leave them on the kitchen table whilst taking the TV...

March 14th is the day all of us fellas' should be preparing for. Google "March 14th and steak". This day happens to be my birthday too, so my lady friend at the time is never lost for a gift idea.

No kidding... I'd ask her if its cool that I plow a couple girls when I'm out of town to make me "more comfortable." Since I'd assume that's what they'd want to do... I mean, why else would me being around be uncomfortable?
Either way, you're a better man than I if you tolerate that, rubecube.

Apparently I can be intimidating. I'm 5'8", 180 lbs...obviously really intimidating.
Anyways I basically told her that there were three other weeks in June that he could stay at her place and that way I would be more comfortable.

Very intimidating... that's 2 inches and 15lbs less than me and I'm not exactly the stereotypical menacing figure.
Doesn't this guy have any single female friends he can shack up with, or any male friends??? I'd be pretty pissed.

Good on ya! You make me proud to be male! As for V-Day ideas, is the Sultan's Tent still around? That place was good for spreading... NM. I dropped a couple hundred in there but it was an interesting experience.
