Environment Canada says -33 for tonight.

Still dang cold, but those 5 degrees are significant.

Walking to class this morning I deked into the Ctrain station to warm up before finishing crossing the overpass.
Ugh...the wind sure gets you when you walk across Crowchild to campus.
I don't think it was a good sign that my ears hurt as they were thawing in class either...

Wow sounds cold. I'm glad the weather wasn't like that over the holidays.
This is where I went yesterday, Manly Beach. Was a really hot day, I was sweating like a pig.

Well if you want to go to a beach at this time of year I have one word that trumps anywhere else I've been for Winter Vacation.....
Brazil! Everything else is just boring.

You're just jealous that I was at the beach. I was there with a lovely young lady, if you must know.

The best part about Australia is that often women who should or could....will go topless at the beach. Especially as you get away from the really busy beaches. Even in Byron Bay in which I only spent a couple days I was impressed with the quantity and quality of topless sun bathers.....North America is too prudish for it's own good.

First time this has happened to me.
Was low on windshield wash, so grabbed the half full one from the back seat and went to pour it in.

We just got ten laptops in from our vendor. I think they left them outside overnight. They arrived with frost all over them...

I destroyed a hard drive on a lap top doing that a few years ago . . . . . fortunately, it was the company's.
I don't leave it in the vehicle overnight anymore. They gave me one (1) mulligan.

Haha, I left my Macbook in my car last night. I woke up at around 11:30 and ran out into the snow in my pajamas to grab it. Frozen feet are better than destroying a $1500 laptop, plus students don't get mulligans yet.
