Default Sabres congratulate young stars

Tobias Enstrom and Milan Lucic for their selection to the NHL young stars game. Looooob wants to give kudos to his scouting staff as Enstrom, Lucic as well as Matt Niskanen were all taken by the Sabres in the CPHL entry draft (outside the first round) and all are in this game.

Looooob has had to rush to Rochester to console Tom Gilbert for not being named to this game.

Wild congratulate David Perron for his selection.

I guess we should get on our own All-star selections eh?

Oops we also congratulate JMFJ.

Tampa will be sending Alexander Edler and Brandon Dubinsky to the young stars game... That is if they get their homework done and clean their rooms first.

Thrashers don't have any young stars in the game but would like to congratulate Pavel Datsyuk and Martin St.Louis on going to the all-star game.

Considering we have no young stars the Flyers assume none of their guys were invited to the game.

However, we would like to congratulate Chris Pronger on his selection to the "big boys" game. Unfortunately none of our other guys were good enough or on a bad enough team to "Horcoff" their way in.

Horcoff is having a great year and is a all-star regardless(Top 25 in the league in scoring). Funny how you didn't mention guys like Rick Nash, Jason Arnott and Anze Kopitar who have less points then Horcoff but still got named to the team.

I'm pretty much stuck in one of those ruts, writers block type funk right now at the moment, I really don't know how to get myself out of it.

I'm sure I can come up with something for the voting and announcing of the teams if you would like someone else to do it, all I'll need is the details

Just an offer

The Oilers congratulate their 5 players named to the NHL All-Star Game, all of whom are among the 12 starters. They are:

Daniel Alfredsson
Martin Brodeur
Jarome Iginla
Vincent Lecavalier
Henrik Zetterberg

GM icarus is keen to observe the pairings of Lecavalier/Alfredsson and Zetterberg/Iginla since he always plays the two Canadians and two Swedes together on separate lines in Edmonton.

The Oilers have no Young Stars this year.

Also, the Oilers congratulate Cam Barker, who will be a starter in the AHL All-Star Game.

The Leafs don't have a single All-Star or Young-Star. That's pretty sad but not our fault, somehow DiPietro made it over Lundqvist which is a complete scam.

On a side note, we used to have Mike Lundin who's playing in the young stars game. I believe last summer we cut him to open up an AHL spot. Guess that wasn't the best decision.

The Coyotes would like to congratulate everyone in the organization for not making either All-Star team.

I love their dedication to our organization by taking the time off to rest.

Are we allowed to nominate all stars based on performance/rating? Similar to POW nominations, maybe we set forth 2 players (maybe more if your team doesnt suck like the ducks) and then have a committee choose from all the nominations?

Grant or Kris will make a thread about all-star nominations and then each gm gets to vote on who gets in. The players with the most votes as selected by the gm's play in the game (believe last year it was 4 C, 4 LW, 4 RW, 6 D and 2 G from each conference).

But those guys don't play on the Oilers why would I want to make fun of them?

Also I did not realize that the talent in the league was so diluted that a scrub like Horcoff could crack the top 125 scorers let alone the top 25. these young guys better hurry up and get good or the league could be in trouble.

The Flyers forgot to mention Mike Richards selection to the Eastern All-Star game. Although not nearly as impressive as making the Western team it is still a solid accomplishment and one that we hope will not effect our ongoing negotiations on a future 80 year deal with the young star.
