				 Best Song of all time

Since we have been talking about terrible music let's hear eveyone's favorite song of all time. I'm going with a top 3 list:
 1.) Santaria - Sublime
2.) Brand New Low - Treble Charger
3.) Heart Shaped Box - Nirvana

This is such a hard category because my music tastes are frequently changing. It's hard to say what I think will be great 15 years from now. I guess it's best to choose a song that has withstood the test of time and is as good today as it was the day it was written. Using that criteria, I'd go with (top 3 in no order):
 The Eagles - Hotel California
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
B.B. King - How Blue Can You Get

wow this is a tough one
 in NO particular order

Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven (the live version off the DVD released a few years ago. i believe it is from Earls Court in 75 or 77) Jimmy plays the double neck on that one.

Pink Floyd - so many to choose from but either Time (from DSOTM) or Fearless (from Meddle) with Honorable mentions going to echoes, wish you were here, comfortably numb and sheep

NIN - Reptile or Piggy especially live. maybe even Hurt (and no Reznor did not cover Cash it was the other way around)

 Honorable mentions go to:

Metallica - Call of the Ktulu (from S&M)
the Who - Magic Bus (from Live at leeds)
the stones - Paint it Black
the Beatles - A day in the life
 Tool - Lataralus

My favourite would be Time by Pink Floyd. Best lyrics, best guitar solo (yes, better than 'Numb)
Another that I'll mention before someone else has the chance, The Beatles - A Day in the Life.

Am I the only one who significantly prefers Watch Tower to Purple Haze when it comes to Hendrix?

Thinking about it, I actually prefer Little Wing but I gave that one to Stevie Ray Vaughn and I like Prince's opening to his Watchtower Cover. I can't figure out how he does that. Funny how these are all covers, with Watchtower itself being a Dylan cover.
