There are VERY few times when I wish American companies would move into Canada but when it comes to fast food, I wish this happened more often. I would love to try Popeyes, Sonic, Jack in the Box and such. We haven't had anything new in ages and all those restraunts I listed sound REALLY tasty.

Did somebody say McDonalds? I think there is a reason it is the biggest.
I've had conversations where if you could only have one fast food joint around which would it be...McDs no doubt.
The next best is Burger King.

Choices Cafe in the basement of my building. Real sandwiches made in under 3 min.
I don't feel like garbage afterwards either.
But if I were to pick a true "fast food" joint: Peter's Drive In. Best burgers I've had (better then Fat Burger, by a very slim margin).

Anybody stopped by Tubby Dog on 17th after a night at the pubs? It is a smokie sausage with cheese, chili, fried onions, a slab of ham and a fried egg on top. I can't say I enjoyed it all that much. I like all those things, just not simultaneously. My buddy swears by it though.

You had me salivating until the fried egg. I just don't get the whole fried egg on stuff. It just sounds nasty. The chili, cheese, onions and slab of ham, I'm totally down with though.

Fried egg is awesome. It's like getting your breakfast, lunch and dinner all at once. Talk about efficiency. Here are my 3...
-Any street hotdog vendor spot
-Fatburger "Double king cheese, chili cheese fry"
-KFC.

I'm going to have to go with Wendy's. For me, it is the burger chain whose food substitute is most like real food.

I hate Wendy's burgers. They don't taste like anything, just blah. Spicy chicken is good though.

Haha no way you must be in the same building as I am - I've never actually gone into that place, though, as it looks like a hangout for beatniks. Maybe I'll have to try it out now. I'll tell them I was sent there by a llama and see if they kick me out, or instead ask me if I know how to play the bongos.

McDonalds. Nothing else compares. There's not a thing on the menu I don't love, even the Filet 'O Fish.

Fuddruckers by far. I've driven to Saskatoon for Fuddruckers.
I also like Hot Philly in Edmonton and Harvey's/Swiss Chalet combo restaurants (Harvey's burger with fries and Swiss Chalet sauce is awesome!). I missed both Harvey's and Swiss Chalet when I lived in Winnipeg.
In Calgary, I love Peter's (though haven't been there since the new ownership). Mongolie Express or whatever it's called at Eau Claire market is great, too. I swear by it whenever I'm staying at the Sheraton.
I tried Fatburger in L.A. once and it wasn't bad. There's a Fatburger in South Edmonton now that I might check out.

Reminds me of this place I went to in Columbus (which I'm pretty sure is a chain) called BD's Mongolian Barbeque.
I also love Buffalo Wild Wings whenever I'm in the States.
