- Tim your line file was misnamed with a .snl suffix. When I changed it to .lns it still would'nt work. I dressed Schaeffer for you figuring you wanted Marc to have a rest. And he got a shutout. Damn I rock.

For some reason the Wild seem to do well against the Canucks - just one of those matchups that seem well suited too. About the only one this season in fact.

Good to see a bunch of guys get the offense rolling - Malkin responds with more ice-time by putting up 4 points.

Backstrom 2-1 with Vokoun out so far.

A nice home win by the Kings in an attempt to salvage what is left of the season. Scott Hartnell continues to roll with a multi-point night. Tim Thomas once again comes up big with a solid performance in nets. Marty Havlat puts up another point to extend his point scoring streak. A day off before travelling to Calgary to take on the Flames.

Caps win 3rd straight... Elias with 3 more points, to make it 6 points in 2 games since becoming a Capital.

The Caps are in for a tough stretch as they play 10 of the next 11 nights.

Markov scores a shorthanded marker with 3 seconds left to send the game to overtime. The Pens played well late in this one after a horrible start. Trailing 5-2 in the 3rd coming back to send the game to OT is a big boast for this club. Always good getting points when ymaki plays. The Pens will have a new 2nd line on the ice for the next game on Wednesday vs the Wings.

Ducks lose, Moss gets ejected in a game that was full of Duck penalties, if we arent gonna win we need to goon it up!

Cooke 1 goal, 2 assists
Todd White 4 assists
Heerema 2 goals

Not a bad performance by a makeshift line. And for the next game, there will be a makeshift top line because Cullen got injured via a David Moss cheapshot.

Cooke is now up to 2 goals and 8 assists in 11 games with Dallas. Maltby has a respectable 2 goals and 4 assists in the same 11 games on the 3rd line. They are playing great and one of the players traded away is now on the block on their team.

Lost in the penalties and thuggery was Caron playing well and winning again. He's 5-3-1 and there may be a goalie controversy soon.

congrats to the jackets. the only line I that was good for us was the one we hoped would suck so we could trade some of them....guess that means its Rolston and Fedotenko who are the problems...what to do?..

Man I just can't get anything consistent of this squad. Yesterday a good win against Montreal and virtually the same line-up tonight but now a 4-0 loss. Its perplexing to say the least....

39 shots on net but Craig Anderson (who?) turns aside 37 shots!

Boo!

Ward was given another day off to rest and should man the nets tomorrow night when the Isles face off against the Hawks in Chi-town.

Just curious how The Ducks managed to dress 19 skaters?

HOSSA!!! So far so good! First game pots two goals and leads the Sharks to a win over one of the Yotes. Hopefully a sign of things to come from the superstar! His presence seemed to spark the other top 6 as well as 5 of them pitched in for points.

Well Garon comes back in the lineup and manages to back stop the team to a 4-2 win. Ever since Stu Barnes came to town Richard Zednik is a new man. Before Barnes he had 1 goal and 1 assist in 21 games. Since Barnes showed up and started playing on his line he's collected 7 goals and 4 assists in his last 6 games. Stephen Weiss who had a miseralbe first 13 games that say him collect 1 goal and 1 assist while going -18 has also been good of late with 19 points in his last 16 games. I guess occasionally you can let SIM chemistry work itself out.

Well, well, well. The Bruins stick it to the Nords and take over first spot in the Imlach and draw within a couple points of first place. Looks like ex-Bruin Kolzig was nervous to play his old team. He was chased from the net after stopping just 17 of 22 shots he faced. On the other hand, shared starter Jose Theodore continued his excellent play for us. He stopped 29 shots for the win. Although he didnt get a star, WDF Metropolit did well with three assists. Not bad considering he had to play with Bonk (who had two goals) at centre instead of the usual Brown or Richardson (both of whom are injured). Knuble and Souray also had three points each.

Power Play Conversions

BRUINS 2 for 4
NORDIQUE 0 for 3

Game Stars

1 - Mike Knuble (BRU)
2 - Jason Arnott (BRU)
3 - Ville Peltonen (BRU)

Is it just my connection or are those standings not up to date? How can I be on a losing streak if I won today?
