gotta go for 2 here
Edit: why didnt they go for two...they need a fg anyways and a missed field goal could be made from 50 out.

At bare minimum, if Burris and Higgins are not removed I will not be renewing season tickets (I would like for Cortez and Barker to be gone to but i'll settle with dumb and dumber).

Very fitting that they went offside after grabbing the first onside kick.

Still don't know if I am a big fan of the "love affair" shown by players to one another after games, I can;t believe I saw some Stamps actually laughing with Rider players after the game. Hank may not be the best, but nice of him to walk off the field, shake a few hands but actually be disappointed they lost, not looking like he's sharing knock knock jokes with the opposing team kind of like Scott Coe.

The Stamps were badly outplayed and were only in it due to some good breaks.
Congrats to Kent Austin and the Riders!

The slow start in the first q and the inability to stop the Riders cost them the game today. They did alright on first down but when it was 2nd and long for the Riders, the Riders were always able to find someone open. The QB option play killed the defence all day long, not sure why they didn't adjust and have the ends just jump in there.

Garbage offside call on the onside kick.
PVR'ed it, it was a guy down on the other side of the field...he was close to jumping, but stretched back at last second when it looked like he was going off...his foot was very very close to the line when the ball was kicked.
Given the fact that it was mere inches in the end, and, the guy was 50 yards away from where the ball was headed, a bs call. Absolute BS.
What else do you expect from a league who still hasn't suspended a BC player for a flagratn foul which ended a players season last week...but the league jhas already fined the coach for speaking out about the foul.

Sure the Riders had ball control and may have run up and down between the 20's, in the end, the Stamps were in the endzone more times. The defense bend but didn't break in the red zone.
The first 2:30 being down 10 points was tough, as was the Burris INT in the endzone on the 3rd drive.
Add that to the fumble that was called an incomplete pass in the first half, and, the offside call on the onside..
Good for the Stamps to stay in it. BC will punish the Riders next week if that's all they have.

Fair enough. They didn't quit and that says a lot about the teams character. And yeah, the Lions will chew em up and spit em out.
I see a Lions/Argos Grey Cup final.

you do realize that where the ball was headed has absolutely nothing to do with calling offside on a kick?!?!?!
I didn't PVR so I can't comment on the actual call, but that is that refs call and ONLY his call.

Yeah, I also said that the player looked to be onside too...it looked worse because the player tiptoed along the line akwardly.

Yaaaa!!! The game shouldn't have been that close but who cares, we still won. Way to go Joseph, over 500 yards offence. Good job on the stamps for keeping it close with a few great plays, the 113 yard INT for a TD. But Burris just couldn't do it. Take this momentum into BC next week. Woooooo!!!!!
