Had an idea!
|
So are they really the greatest team to take the field in NFL history?
Pretty impressive effort this afternoon.

Well they want the Superbowl...But I think this team more than any other team also wants to be 19-0 when they hand it to them.

Ya Im with you, I think most teams would sit their stars but because BB is the coach he will want to end this season 19-0 to show every spygate meant nothing!

Very tough loss, especially with that 10 point lead. Brady deserves all the credit in the world for coming back. The rest of the Patriots team makes me sick, I must've missed the week 9 trophy ceremony after the game? A very impressive win in the hardest place to play in the NFL arguablly.
I'm not going to pile on the excuse's, but having one of the top 2 wide receivers yesterday sure would've helped. Harrison has been absolutley money against the Patriots the last three years. If moss sat out yesterday, I don't see the Patriots winning either. Should be a hell of a game when they meet up again later this year....

Great win by Pats, they defeated the Colts and the corrupt reffing of the NFL - give me a break that was Pass Interference by Moss.
Defense especially played well given Brady's miscues at the beginning. The only play they played poorly was the Addai TD at the end of the first half.

I understand this sentiment but certainly cant agree with it entirely.
Harrison cant cover Welker and Moss.....and thats where the final problem landed for the Colts. That and the Colts had extremely favorable officiating that they will not see in Foxboro. If that game was played in Pat land yesterday I think the Pats win by 20.

Pats claim Colts Cheated
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/nfl...?urn=nfl,52422
Interesting. I really hope it isn't true and if it is then the Colts be penalized for it. I love my team but if it is true then they should be penalized for the actions.

The officiating was god awful, I agree.
It's not as easy as saying Harrison gives the Colts this many points and therefore they win. Had it been Moss out for the Patriots yesterday, theres no way they win. Harrison can't cover Welker and Moss but he can keep them off the field. The guy is one of the best wide outs of all time, already a lock for the HOF. Who knows though...end of the day the Pats won and may have just locked up home field.
Hopefully your theory of the Colts/Pats in Foxboro can be put to test in the AFC Championship game.

How do we know though?
I guarentee that if that was the case, Belicheat would of had a completely different game plan than he devised knowing Moss would be there.
Im sorry...but the Pats are just a much better team top to bottom than Indy right now.

Like I said who knows...you do have to place some value in a player of Marvin's elite status (top 2 WR in the game today) not being in action.
I'm not taking anything away from the Pats win, kudos to them. Even with a healthy Harrison, the Colts don't get an automatic W. Hopefully the Colts can get healthy and make it through a strong AFC to beat the Patriots when it matters this year

Now Pittsburgh might have a chance if the game wasn't in New England, so right now the only way I see them losing is on road to MAYBE the Giants?
All I can say is its looking pretty good for 16-0...but if they are 15-0 do you really want to put Brady and Moss in for that game? Because its Bill I will say Yes!

Crazy prediction - when the Pats and Dolphins meet, it will be 14-0 vs 0-14 and Miami will win (due to being violently threatened by the '72 Dolphins)

It wasn't a prediction, it was just a thought that is is slowly looking more and more like they can run the table. If you look at who they have left to play they really only have a few threats in Pit and Giants(in NY).
Also Miami has the Jets, Bill & Bengals @ Miami, I would think these are the teams they are going to beat before The Pats in New England.

As much as I hate the Patriots, it wouldn't be the worse thing in the world if someone could knock those a-hole 72 Dolphins down a peg. The intro into NFL Countdown this week was of them and man did it make me sick hearing some of them talk
