Default CFL Picks Playoff Editon 1

So the format of making picks stays the same until the grey cup when you be able to pick several different outcomes.

Both games are next Sunday.

Montreal at Winnipeg
Calgary at Sask

My picks: Winnipeg and Calgary

Montreal and the Riders.

Glenn just doesn't have anything left in the tank and higgins will probably go for 1 when the stamps are 2 points down with more than 3 minutes left.

Sorry to say it, but my heart wants Stamps while the head says Riders. Calgary's just been too all-over-the-map this season. Riders do 'em in just like last year...

Green Riders make up for the failure in '88.
Winnipeg defeats a Montreal team that faded badly.

The failure to win a home playoff game.

Thankfully, the home team rarely wins the Western Semi-Final.

As much as I hate to say it, I am picking both those with my heart and not my head. How awesome would that be for there to be another Winnipeg/Calgary Grey Cup! (Except for a different outcome than the last two.)

Bombers and Riders

I think both games are going to be very close with the potential for a lot of points to be put in the Western Semi-Final. Both the Riders and Stamps secondaries are very suspect. They may both be helped however, dependent on what the weather is like for the game.
