Default Help identifying a song -- Country

Ok, So I heard this song on my XM radio a while ago (can't remember if it was this summer or last).

Anyway, the song is new, released either this summer or last.

It was on a country channel, not X-country, maybe 11? Nashville I think it once was..

Anyway the song is about a guy who is explaining to a cop why his truck is flipped over... (could you be more country/redneck?)

it goes something like:

"That beer was drank by someone else, and this truck was flipped when I got here..."

Something like that.. I know its very vague, but I hope someone here recognizes it..

cheers.

"Stand By Your Man" by Tammy Wynette.

Just a wild stab at at.

I got a country song question here too...

What the name of that song with the lyrics that go....

"I got to drive at a hundred and five, it's how fast I got to go..."

I have searched the phrase and the name Fred Eaglesmith comes up but I am unable to find it using Limewire?
Thanks CP!

Fred Eaglesmith is pretty good. Try searching on itunes.. he has a good song called Freight Train...

Is the song you're thinking of "Lucille" ??

"I had had a 428, and a 68 ford and it ran great...

"take it on up to 110, tires scream in and out of the bends...

l"ucille hanging on just as tight as she could..."

Sounds like either Wilder Than Her or Mighty Big Car by Eaglesmith. Both are on iTunes.

That or "Theme to Rawhide."

Only two country songs you need to know, according to the Blues Brothers.

Hmm, maybe it's not even Eaglesmith, it's an upbeat driving tune as I'm sure you can tell from the lyrics...

"I got to drive at a 105, cause it's how fast I got to go"

Fred Eaglsmith has a song called 105.

The lyrics are as follows:

Quote:
Streak of lightning coming down the highway
turn around and watch it go
switch on the lights
put on the highbeams
better find a preacher on the radio

I like to drive at 105
its just how fast i got to go

i got the gears and i got the motor
aint no reason to go slower
and i like the speed i like the motion
i like the rockin machine
i like to drive at 105
better hurry up if you wanna catch me

neon sign flashin by like something in your eye
Elvis on the radio almost makes you cry
falshing lights in the rearview you know
payin many mile step on the gas pull out to pass and leave em far be hind

I like to drive at 105
its just how fast i got to go

i got the gears and i got the motor
aint no reason to go slower
and i like the speed i like the motion
i like the rockin machine
i like to drive at 105
better hurry up if you wanna catch me

you shouldnt ought to done it honey you shouldnt ought to run around
but two cant be on the highway darlin and i'M THE ONE THATS OUT THERE NOW

and i like the speed i like the motion i like the rockin machine i like to drive at 105 better hurry up if you wanna catch mebetter hurry up if you wanna catch me
