advances? or gets on base. If he gets on base because of an error, the run is then unearned.

Well as bad as Gagner was the guys behind him were actually worse. Glad to see the Indians persevere in this one. Bettencourt did a fantastic job getting the tribe a couple key innings and Mastny getting Ortiz, Ramirez, and Lowell 1-2-3 in the 10th was a huge mommentum swing. Hopefully we still get an Indians vs. Rockies World Series.

I really couldn't see why they made the switch. I know Gagne has had some rough night lately, but deep down he is still Eric Gagne. Bringing on the lefty pitcher lopez, who for some reason, can't get lefties out to face Trot Nixon seemed a little premature.

The Rockies have now won 20 of 21 and are one win away from a trip to the World Series.

Indians win again to go up 2-1 in the series. Good I hate anything Boston.

Advances as well.

i.e.: If a runner on first takes second because of an error that would have been the first out, goes to third on a flyball for the real first out, then scores on a sac fly for the second out, that run would be unearned, as without the error, that would have been the third out, inning over.

Man are these Rockies getting all the breaks.
A bloop single of the fists of a pinch-hitter in the 4th with 2-out triggers a SIX run inning!

These guys are on fire!

21 of 22 is just unreal, it really is. What a great story this is becoming. Now lets hope its the Indians they face and not the BoSux.

Congrats to the Rockies! Hopefully the long break won't affect them too much.

Cleveland rocks! Seeing them win takes a little of the sting off two shootout losses for my teams.

Crazy how something as small as Wakefield deflecting that shot by Cabrera can affect the game. If Wakefield doesn't touch that the Sox likely turn a double play and get out of that inning only allowing 1 run IIRC. Instead it goes on to be a 7 run inning. Hopefully Sabathia has it for his next game because Beckett has been right on so far.

gagne has been horrendous this year. he USE to be good and maybe on another team he would be, but he is just horrible with the sox. i can't even stand to watch when he pitches. there are only two other pitcher that made me cringe like him -- Rod "Upper Deck" Beck, and Wayback Wazner.

Might help more if the Sox pitching didn't stink.
