Default First Burris now Ray...

has a seperated shoulder. Ray left tonights game. Could be a huge blow to the Esks. Ray is the only reason in my mind why the Esks are still even in a playoff race. A below average team with a very good qb.

I can't say that I have much sympathy, but man have there been a lot of QB injuries this year!

I didn't see what happened to Smith but tonights game has been brutal. I wonder if Barker can find a decent QB to come in and play.

He got hurt midway throught the second quarter from a sac. The game hadn't actually been that bad up until then (save the first 2 drives that BC had where the D didn't show up). There wasn't any big plays on offence but it looked like he was getting the feeling. The new guy has never taken a snap and looks lost.

Yep, this is the season where starting QBs seems to drop like flies. All the teams experienced losing their starting QBs. Some played well after and some are just brutal.

Early in the season, Michael Bishop of Toronto missed a few games after he got injured against the Stamps. Backup QB did not do well in relief.

In BC, they already lost Dickerson, then backup Pierce and now playing their third-stringer Jarious Jackson who is playing well especially against the Stamps.

Montreal lost Calvillo. Backup QB Brady won the first game then lost the next few games.

Printers of Hamilton got injured and missed one game so far. Richie Williams seems to taking advantage of the chances engineering a win against the Stamps but came short against Winnipeg.

I believed Winnipeg lost Kevin Glenn for a game or two after getting injured but I am not positive on that. I know he got injured but it is not as severe.

The Stamps lost Burris so in comes Akili Smith. Played not so good and got injured in the 2nd quarter. 3rd stringer Nealy came in but did not do much because of BC's stingy defense. Only positive thing about Nealy's play is his strong arms. If Smith can't play next game, i guess we will see Ben Sankey as a starter next game against the Riders.

Now, Ricky Ray might be gone for the season. We will see how this Kevin Lefors responds. I sure hope he sucks all the way!!

This is just crazy, has it ever been this bad for QB's in the CFL?

It will be interesting to see who wins the Grey Cup and with what string QB.

That's true but he is old and brittle so that's expected. Add Damon Allen as one of the casualty for this season. Actually Bishop beat him out of the starting position already anyways.

Well on the plus side, since Ray is injured for the rest of the season Calgary might have a chance of keeping their playoff spot. And when Burris comes back at the end of the season we could have a legitamate chance at the Grey Cup.

Him or Tracy Ham. The Stamps seemingly the only team those 2 of 3 merry go round CFL QB's hasn't played for (or, coached).

Only if the defence steps up.
