Default Roast of Flava Flav

haha, anyone else watching this?

I've never watched a roast before and I'm on the ground laughing so hard. Its on comedy (ch.41) and Jimmy Kimmel just busted out some hilarious stuff.

There are obviously more of these around, can anyone suggest more that I could see?

Cheers!

Hugh Heffner. I have never laughed so hard in my life. The thing with that was that I think it was on late in Sept of 2001 and Gilbert Godfried took no prisoners....

The Comedy Central group has only done 5 roasts so far. Dennis Leary was first (haven't seen it). Jeff Foxworthy was second (haven't seen). Pam Anderson, William Shatner and Flavor Flav followed. I just realized two of them are Canadian. The last three had very similar casts.

Pamela Anderson roast is awesome and made the career of LIsa Lampinelli. She was signed to long term contracts to Roasts with Comedy Central. Greg Giraldo and Jeffery Ross were also good and signed for the future.

I haven't seen the Shatner or Flav roasts in their entirety but have seen all of the youtube clips and the clips on the comedy central webiste. Youtube has the entire pam anderson roast though. THe best were Lisa Lampinelli and Sarah Silverman.

I have a new found respect for both Lisa Lampinelli (the greatest race profiler and dirty girl comic around) and Sarah Silverman (absolute potty mouth and no holds barred - takes no prisoners). Go to youtube and watch Sarah rip Paris at the MTV movie awards.

The Shatner one was good, George Takei got hammered so hard for being gay.

Snoop on Carrot Top:

"At first I was wondering... who is this Bride of Chucky looking mother#@$%?"

Hahaha. Man, Carrot Top was tripping after so many people had takes on his looks. In the end credits, he was asking for a mirror to look at his face! How can you NOT know you look like a cabbage patch transvestite?

Carrot top is easily on of the most disturbing looking individuals in the world. I recently stayed at the Luxor where he was the house act. Pictures of him were everywhere, between that and the 40 degree weather I almost jumped through a window

I was there mid-August. I found it a fairly harsh transition to look at a poster full of gorgeous women and then look over and see what can only be considered the exact opposite. It was like everytime the beutiful women would drop my guard and then wham that transgendered ginger was smacking me right in the face...

I wouldn't bleep Bea Arthur's bleep with Andy Dick's (bleep?) bleep.

A classic line.

Courntey Love was at Pamela Anderson's sitting beside her, so they must be friends. I forget who, and the exact words, but someone told Courtney she looks worse than Kurt Cobain.

I've seen the Pam Anderson, William Shatner, and Flavor Flav roasts ... they have all been great. I was in tears during each of them. Kimmel's line about Chris Benoit being a better father than Flavor Flav was brutal.

These roasts, though hillarious, certainly do not pull any punches. I think Gilbert Godfried really set the mark w/ his 9/11 comments. People were actually yelling out too soon.

Here's the Takei roast of Shatner. Pretty funny stuff from a guy who I didn't think would be very funny. I love the look on Andy Dyck's face too, when Takei makes a joke about him.

Note the content is NSFW.

Roasts are by far and away the funniest comedy events in existence.
The Foxworthy roast is probably the worst one, but even it is pretty damn funny, Colin Quinn is entertaining, as is Lisa Lampanelli.
Shatner, Flav and Pam Anderson roasts are all very good and give lots of celebrity material.
The Dennis Leary roast is probably my favourite though, lots of good jokes tossed between a lot of semi-famous (and mean) comedians....even Dane Cook is ridiculously funny in it.

If you like roasts and want to watch a few more than what's available, Howard Stern puts them on and they are available on some sites for download. They are probably three times as mean spirited too, which is awesome. I recommend the Artie Lange and Andy Dick roasts...super funny.
