Insider trading stoked the Tanev-Sens rumor so sounds like they will be offering him a free agent deal if nothing else.

Interesting to hear the Rangers are listening to and may dangle Kakko in trade talks. Would fans be stoked on Kakko+ for Lindholm? I like the thought of getting a former top pick pre-25 to give them a second shot. Turris, Bennett, Strome all were much more productive when they got a fresh start.

Kakko is having a terrible year, but he's only 22 and was trending up. 18 points in 43 games in 2021-22, 40 points in 2022-23 as a 21 year-old. Not too many 21 year-olds get 40 points in the NHL.

Really like this player, big winger who can skate.

So with the 5 players charged, how does that change the trade landscape? Doubt it impacts the flames plans, but what about Philly? They need a goalie or will continue to embrace the tank?

Yeah Kakko’s size and skill is something I’d be happy to get in a Lindy trade.

It may not work out, but it’s a really intriguing upside.

Flyers are securely in a playoff spot right now. Not sure tank is a thing.

Frank Seravalli was on a podcast today and in his opinion said he could see someone like Sean Monahan going to the Oilers to play in the 3rd line center role as the AAV is low and the acquisition cost wouldn't be like what it is for Lindholm.

Monahan is terrible in a bottom six role. If you're not bringing him in to be a trigger man for your best playmakers, you haven't done your scouting.
