I would throw in Dallas’s 2nd rounder and make a deal. Casey is better than a 2nd at this point, and NJ 2nd will be better than Dallas 2nd.

What about Mercer + 1st for Markstrom + Dallas’ 2nd?
Sounds like the goalie FA market might be thin, so, maybe it is better to wait to the draft / off-season to do it.

I really hope that Conroy and the management team recognize Markstrom's value is never going to be higher and they will take advantage of the opportunity to move the team forward. While Mercer would be preferable Holtz would be a good get as well. Don't lose the focus we could add a core piece here moving forward. Yes, the center would be preferable but a highly skilled forward would be an incredible add.
