I really regret starting this thread with that title. It makes it look like I'm the biggest True Blood fan. I really dug the first season, thought it was great tv. But am really turned off by the show now. I'll watch it, but there's no chance I'm totally into it. I think I'm gonna continue to watch just to see how it turns out, not because I think it's good television.

I don't think the trailer looks good, and I don't think its been a 'good' show since with about 2-3 episodes in season 2 (with the dallas stuff)
but I will finish it most likely, especially in the summer with not much on

i started watching this show because i wanted to see some Anna Paquin boobies, and in that regard i was not disappointed. but i've gotten everything i wanted out of the show now so i won't bother with the next season. i hate the actor that plays Bill, the actor/character of the psycho bitch black girl, and pretty much any of the non-vampire characters. they should do a spin-off show centering on the vampire Eric, because episodes where his story was the focus were always the most interesting
soon as they threw in werewolves it just became way too Twilight-esque to get any enjoyment out of it

I actually thought season 2 was the worst of the three.
That whole Marianne thing was dragged on way too long. Oh look, I'll make them be violent, then I'll make them have sex, then I'll make them be violent again.
Wait, we need to come up with a reason for her to be doing these things...
At least season 3 had some hints to the vampire political structure, and some fighting amongst them.
But I do agree, the show is going to kill itself soon.

It looks like they are moving further away from the books every season, which really sucks. This may be my last season, depending on how far they move away.

I hated the Marianne thing, but I thought the stuff with the fellowship and godric was the peak of the show

There's nothing queer about a buck naked Sookie Stackhouse...

Weird, I changed it, and saved it and thought it was going to work. But it looks like I edited the title of the original post, not the actual thread. I tried.

Anyone catch the 10 minute preview for Season 4 in between Game of Thrones and Treme this past Sunday??
I swear, this show now requires you to be very high to enjoy it. I honestly didn't know what the hell I was watching. It was brutal! Numerous fairies eating this magical fairy fruit, Sookie being chased by the head fairy whilst having fairy electircal bolts shot at her......It was painful and to think, that was supposed to tease me to watch Season 4. Ugh. Alan Ball, what have you done??

I'm a guy and I agree. Not because of his ass, but his character is bad ass.
From all the sh** plot lines in the show, his is the only one that is interesting, mostly because of himself.
True Blood has to have some of THE worst side plots in any tv/movie. Holy crap are they boring/horrible.

Oh man. I finally got around to watching the season premiere. What have they done to this show?
This reminds me of how awesome Heroes was when it started, and how quickly it all went downhill.
Don't even want to watch tomorrow's episode. But I will, of course.

I have decided to wait until it ends then watch all 12 at once. I get the impression that is going to be a effed up day.
