If by Legend you mean, we like to laugh at your ridculous opinion on tipping, then yes

Any new tipping stories from from upscale restraunts like Chilli's.

I do have a question though, how did you find this thread so quickly when it was bumped back to new discussion? It is like you feel a disturbance in the force when anyone mentions tipping

That's not upscale.

A waiter we had Saturday sucked. I was in a party of 4. The waiter decided not to write down things and forgot a container for my salsa. He made us wait 15 minutes LITERALLY for a box and saw he served others chips n' salsa(that he could get himself I saw) BEFORE getting our box even. A cup of chili I asked for at the same time as a refill on my soft drink he brings out the chili without the soft drink when the soft drink should have beat out the chili. It was ridiculous. He also brought me a wrong refill of the soft drink I ordered. It sucked. 7% tip. Not too happy. I HATE when servers are too lazy to *WRITE DOWN* what you ask for if they are forgetful like that. I also hate that a soft drink would be after a kitchen item when servers are in full control over soft drinks and he even told me he just changed the syrup on the first soft drink I received.

Have you ever figured out what is the common denominator about all these poor experiences?

Not me. LAZY SERVERS THAT DON'T WANT TO PUT 100% FULL EFFORT AND BE *FAIR* INTO THE JOB!! Ask yourself, can you make the server write things down? I even asked, begged some, they refused and then forget stuff.

No, it's you.

I've never been a waiter (or waitress!) in my working career but if I ever had a rude, crass, slobbery guest like yourself at one of my tables I'd go out of my way to annoy and piss you off so you never came back.

It's not me, because I am *NOT* RUDE EVER!!

But I come back and ask not to get you again. I also report things to managers. I have gotten 3 servers fired before during the years, so if you did that, you'd get fired.

Got someone fired, you must be really proud of yourself.

You should just stay out of restaurants all together if you truly feel this way about the service you receive. You can make food at home now days you know.

But THANK GOD service isn't always so horrible like that. If it was, then I probably would stay home and get take-out(I DON'T COOK).
