I think he handled Brown very well. Kept him to the outside, then when the puck went behind the net, Brodie shifted and got body position to take the puck away from him.

2 goals in the last 8 periods from a team that is supposedly more offensive is terrible no matter how you slice it. To put it another way, if they are shutout again tonight they will be approximately 4.5 goals ahead of how good their offense would have been if they had maintained their scoring pace from last year. I only saw the first period and there was no effort in that period, listened to Peter for the second, so I cannot comment on what the effort looked like in the second. But the Flames had one scoring chance in the first, that is nowhere near good enough.

Feels like their pressure is more intense if that makes any sense. We are not threatening in the offensive zone the way they are.
