It's funny that a few months ago people were saying we should buy him out, now he's probably our best player (in my eyes anyway)
What?
Hudler has not been bad, let alone terrible deefnsively

That was a big give-away by Brodie that I thought for sure would end up in a goal against, Flames got caught out there for a while.

Call me crazy, but I say they unload Kipper for whatever they can get, and run with MacDonald for the rest the season.

Did he? In 2007-2008, Chicago, Vancouver, LA, and St. Louis all missed the playoffs. Very mediocre Western Conference back then. And he had younger core players. The conference has just gotten better around them, and 2 years later the Flames are still suffering from a lot of his moves.

Yeah, boy, if it wasn't for that jerk face sutter , we'd still be sailing on our consecutive streak of 7 years making the playoffs.
Trust a sutter to just come in a ruin 7 years of what was otherwise exemplary scouting, development and success.

Flames are pleased to select from the Halifax Mooseheads Nate Mackinnon

The only good thing about away games is not having to hear the same garbage songs in between whistles like at the dome.

I just think Hudler hasn't been that great defensively. Maybe he hasn't been terrible but he's fairly one dimensional. I would agree that he's probably right up there though. Guess the emotions got the better of me there. Hudler is pretty good

I think most of the hockey world would say it's time to get what you can for the vets and start building a team that will be real competitive in 3 or 4 years. Unfortunately our GM is one of the few not in that camp.

The best part about the team's poor play at home, is having to hear that horrible goal song less.
