I thought Wideman would be a more positive influence on the team than he has been. Between them that's a combined 9 million dollars of cap hit that isn't really making a difference.
Bouwmeester at nearly 7, having a better year but not great by my books.
Giordano at 4 really struggling.
Iginla at 7 and had a really slow start that didn't help.
Kipper at 6 and having a bad year.
4.5 million of defensemen warming the pressbox.
There are many, many problems on this team and it just hasn't been put together very well.

I hope the organization isn't dumb enough to make a play for Vinny Lecalvier...that would the nail in the coffin of this organization.

He's an amazing coach. I wish him nothing but failure due to the majority of his GM time in Calgary, but it's not going to happen.
Darryl can motivate. The Flames should have 2 cups.

He's been gone 2.5 years and the team has done the exact same things.
How long Until we realize maybe he wasn't ripping the franchise apart but was actually just carrying out "win now" to the best of his abilities.

Butler should remain through the rebuilding process. He'll ensure we stay terrible for quite some time.

I know flames fans are not used to seeing good defence but lets not pretend like it was some epic choke.

LOl
How many excuses does this guy get? Baby, injury, tired, new country, new language, new position, new skates, new stick, big meanies out there, dropped his ice cream etc.
The point of having him out there is to beat that good defense and it isn't like this is an isolated incident it happens more often than not for him.
Hey at least the Flames are whipping the Kings on the FO's. That is surprising.

Yeah I'm no longer sad about this team because they aren't really performing much below my expectations.
Also, I'm been convinced that a certain player will never make the playoffs so I'm not surprised that it looks to be another year without.

Sven and our first for Vinny. Iggy signs another 35 million extension. Profit.

Darryl Sutter was a poor GM but a great coach.
Or are you suddenly changing gears and going to give Feaster a pass too?

You know you have no faith when you are hoping for a loss.
I seriously think the only way for management to wake up is if the flames go 0-15 for the next month.
Maybe then do they wake up and realize this team sucks.

At this point I'm all for dumping big contracts and filling the roster with goons. Lets get some excitement back into this team.
