Joke swap was unhinged tonight. I was crying.
Just a fun show overall with the pride of Hamilton, Martin Short, Lots of sketch recycling though.

There’s no way Scarlett Johansson likes the roast beef joke. That was ruthless.
Great show overall.

Yeah the Update blind jokes were awesome. Colin continues to put Che in actual danger and Che slam dunked with the roast beef joke.

Ah, I think she's a good sport and I'm sure she knows Che was taking a dig at Colin by making him say that.
Besides...I wouldn't want to piss off Scarlett Johansson, she could probably kick some ass.

There's an amazing cut-for-time Grinch sketch.
I'm guessing joke swap went much longer than planned, but to cut this one was a travesty.
I feel the Sabado Gigante redux with Paul Rudd was a make-up for losing his Christmas episode to Covid?

That was a lively crowd. I'm over the 5 timers shtick though.

Chappelle hosting tonight. So far a 20 minute monologue that is pretty classic Chappelle

Has he FINALLY moved on from transphobic bull****? He lived off that crap for like 4 years and claimed that he was done it with after his last special. I was skeptical because it's so profitable to rail on the trans community in the comedy world.
Honestly, I'm done with him as a comedian because of his junk in that time period, but would still be open to a good SNL episode if he stayed away from that stuff.

I'm still stunned he used a "comedian trans friend" committing suicide to rail against the trans community. What ****ing sociopath does that?

I like Chappelle and thought he did a great job last night and really enjoyed that SNL seemed to give him as much time as he wanted for the monologue. That was a smart move.

Chappelle was very good last night. The monologue meandered a bit but loved how he closed it. Very well done. The first skit was great. The one with the neighborhood dads. Marcello Hernandez has a fearless quality about him. I also liked Michael Longfellow's TikTok bit on weekend update.

Dave snitching at the Diddy party was vintage Chappelle.
Fun episode overall, Chappelle was in more sketches than I thought he'd be.
