PA Parenteau with the wraparound dagger to make it 4-1 with just over 4 minutes left.

With their win today, Canada gets the day off tomorrow and goes straight to the semi-final on Saturday. Opponent to be determined on Friday.

Sweet win by Davos! Looking forward to HCD vs Team Switzerland, going to be fun to watch.
Bummed about Hämeenlinna going without a win, especially with their early lead today. I hope Jokerit gets another invite next year.

Olivier Roy has been added to Team Canada's roster, and is backing up Poulin in the semifinal today. Apparently, you have to be a former player for the Flames' AHL affiliate in order to play goal for Canada this year.

Empty net shorthanded goal by Canada makes the final (Vic Rauter) 5-2. Canada will play the winner of HC Davos and Team Switzerland Sunday in the Spengler Cup final.

They're eventually just going to stop inviting us.

Besides Davos, Canada is generally the 2nd most popular team in the tournament - depending in who the 2nd Swiss league team is.
