They're probably trying to trade him as a defenceman. They should probably market him as a service that clears snow from the slot by sliding through it.
Maybe more takers that way.

What the hell is wrong with this team. 10-30 seconds later no respect for their own lead.

Russell's shot blocking style is effective against dumb, unskilled players. Guys like Benn and Lindholm are way above his calibre.

Russell was hot garbage on that goal, but Ramo needs to make that save

Refs just let the Hurricanes get away with blatant obstruction twice there.

Crappy plays by Russel, not the entire team.
How can anyone defend Russell? The eye test shows he's awful and so do the advanced stats. He is always out of position and let's everybody skate right in to the slot and then tries to block it.
He's a good blocker but he always needs to block shots cause he sucks and he should feel bad.

Canes got away with a hook and a high stick on the same shift. Reffs absent i guess.

You are asking an awful lot for a Flames goaltender to make a timely save this season.

Hamilton jumping into the glass after that goal makes me think that the room had a large pot going to whoever scored the next PP goal.

That's one of the hardest saves a goalie can make. Dman is blocking your view and then the puck comes from up behind with a lot of speed. So hard to read. No chance.

According to Hrudey that stick side, just above the pad, shot is one of the hardest. And that one went post in.

He was one on one with the guy drafted ahead of Monahan right in the slot. Lindholm just had to pick a spot. He could have scored that goal on anybody, Quick, Lundqvist, Holtby... maybe not Price because he's on a totally different level but anybody else.

I really appreciate Ball and Hrudey giving us a break from the Wideman talk - very refreshing

Yeah, no fault to Ramo there.
Russell backed in too far, then went down too quickly. All on him.
