Been on a huge Judge John Hodgman kick the past week. John Hodgman is pretty darn funny, a little pretentious at times but it's a great podcast to listen to.

Finally got around to downloading a bunch of Jim Florentine's shows, very funny stuff but I was already a fan. Ran through over 20 of them over the past week.http://jimflopodcast.libsyn.com/webpage |

It's a really niche sort of thing but I love the Ronna & Beverly podcast on Earwolf after hearing them with the Sklars. They make me chuckle.

Someone on CP turned me onto Dan Carlin's Hardcore History a while back. It might have even been in this thread . Anyway's I've since listened to them all and really enjoy them. 'Common Sense' is great too.

Alton Brown has a show on the Nerdist Network now. I really enjoy hearing him talk about food and cooking.

It may or may not have been mentioned here yet, butF Plus
is a neverending source of entertainment.

		| This is The F Plus: Terrible Things Read With Enthusiasm.
The Internet is truly an amazing thing. With scarcely any effort at all, a person can find all sorts of really useful information out there. A staggering amount of information, years of university-level knowledge in any field imagined, can be accessed with little more than a few clicks and keystrokes. The sum total of human endeavour is available to anybody, if they can simply find the right way to search for it.

We at The F Plus are not really interested in any of this, though.

The Internet is also a way for people to express themselves. Never before has it been so easy for anybody to reach an audience of thousands, if not millions. Fame can be easily had where not so long ago it would have been inaccessible. Never before has it been so easy for people with similar interests to collect together to share their views in whatever drew them together.

Most of the time, this is good. We at The F Plus are not really interested in that, either.

Twenty years ago, people with truly bizarre interests or hobbies or thoughts might have just kept quiet about it and lead normal lives. Now that they can find people worldwide with similar interests, they freely discuss it in public. We've become accustomed to simply glossing things over we might read, but having it read aloud can really bring to light just how bizarre some of these hobbies, or thoughts, or interests might be.

That's what we do at The F Plus, we are a bastion of light and clarity--or we just like to read the weird things people post on the Internet and have a bit of a laugh while we're at it.

For NBA fans, I can't recommend "The Starters" podcast enough. It's the same guys who used to do The Basketball Jones podcast in Toronto. They do a great job recapping the previous nights games and discussing league news in a daily pod that runs about an hour. It's a great way to keep up if you are a fan of the league but don't religiously watch games everyday.

I used to, but Brian Redban makes me want to punch him in the face. And I don't care about weed or UFO's.

For gaming, movies, and pop-culture fans I really recommend The Indoor Kids (Nerdist Network). Kumail Nanjiani and Emily Gordon (married) have very entertaining chemistry and the tangents are fantastic.

I just got into the Juan Epstein podcast. It's been out since 2008 but I just found out about it recently. Hosted by Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds from Hot 97 in NY.
It's mainly a hiphop related podcast where they have great interviews with artists about the creation of their best albums, certain points in their life etc. They have also interviewed some comedians as well including Bill Burr, Aziz Ansari, Patrice ONeal, Russell Peters and Jim Gaffigan.

If you're a fan of Andy's characters on Comedy Bang Bang you know how hilarious he is. This is my new favourite podcast. Well worth a listen.
