I got it too...didn't click on the link, but knew right away it wasn't legit when I saw the "join date" as September 2008. The real Reg has been around much, much longer.

Ok I just have a nerdy question for photon. How would the spammer know to select a regular like Reggie Dunlop (not the poster with the highest post count; Reggie is No 2, No 1 is Cowperson is inactive) and not the most active poster who happens to be inactive? And then miss sending to Reggies account?
Is there some sort of sortware out there?

Reggie is the highest post count with a user name that could be imitated (qq instead of gg).
Just a guess, mind you, but it makes sense.

It's possible there was software used to do this, though never underestimate the power of cheap labour from India or China to use for spamming.
I'm usually good at catching these (usually delete one or two spammers a day), this one got through.
