I'm so depressed about going back to work tomorrow. Tomorrow is the beginning of the busiest time of work for me, where the hours are longer and it seems like I live in that damn place some weeks.

I watched the X-Files: I Want to Believe last night. I was very disappointed. Everything good about the show was long gone in this one, even the chemistry between Duchovny and Anderson seemed non existant.

I'm wondering what traffic Armageddon in Ottawa is going to be like tomorrow. No public transit + first day back to work for everyone + snow flurries should equal good times!

It's a shame what happened to The X-Files. It was one of the best series ever for the first 5 years or so, then just started to go downhill with only the occasional good episode.

I blame the rain in Vancouver.

I think that 98% of the pictures people post of facebook are completely ######ed. Why must everyone be snapping pictures all the time? Put the damn cameras away.

I hope someone shows up at my client's office soon. I'm sitting on a window ledge surfing on my phone. It would be nice if more then one person showed up before 9AM.

I like that I can surf the net on my cellphone but as a phone, for making calls, it really sucks.

4 out of my 5 marks from the last semester are up, there is still one missing and this semester is already starting...

I'm not going to class today because I have none, it's a lab and they don't exist the first week of classes

When I was at Carleton, I had one Journalism course where every couple of weeks, we would rotate professors and topics. I had ethics for two weeks at the end of Sept, handed in an assignment at the end of the first week. He didn't hand it back until the end of the semester. People were quite miffed about it as Journalism, you had to achieve certain marks to stay in the program. Not knowing what we got in that one section drove us all crazy, cause it could make or break your mark. I hated that prof. Like every other Journalism prof, he was so arrogant and not at all afraid to make his books part of the course material, so we all had to buy it.

I don't miss university at all. I'm surprised, I figured I would.

The only things I missed about Carleton were Olivers, Roosters and Frosh Week.

^^I only went to Ollies in my first year. Roosters I never enjoyed, but when I was there, it was more of a coffee place then a bar. My first year Frosh week wasn't too bad, aside from the frosh leaders who took it upon themselves to make it like camp, waking us up early and that kind of thing. They tried treating us like kids. Not quite the experience you want your first year of university.

I have watched Dark Knight several times in the last couple days, I am not entirely sure I even like it.

If you're not sure if you like it, why would you watch it more then once?

To figure out if I like it.

And laziness. I watched it once, and was in bed and didn't want to get up and change the disc, so I played it again.

x2 real life is teh suck

Even though I've finished school, I haven't lost the desire to learn stuff. Luckily, my job provides a lot of opportunity for professional development and further studies but it just doesn't feel the same. One of my favorite days of the year used to be the day I bought new textbooks. The lineups sucked but I liked the idea of having all that learning to look forward to. And the smell of new books was pretty cool too.

Real life sucks when you're in it, school sucks when you're in it. Besides retirement, there is no happy medium.

Sure there is. Too bad it's so damn hard to be appointed a Senator though.
