Hilariously ironic posts that are indiscernible from unintentional comedy.

I was watching the NSH v LA game yesterday, and the PBP guy kept pronouncing Vern Fiddler as "Feed-ler", makes me wonder if if he pronounces fiddle as "feed - ill"
Stuff like that makes hockey unbearable to listen to at times, and for the record, Bouwmeester being pronounced "bow-mister" annoys me to no end as well

I really was just trying to piss of Vancouver fans for some reason. I don't know why but I was in that kind of mood last night and this morning. Tried to make sure it was obvious I was being an ahole too and they just kept on biting. And then I got an infraction so I tried to lay off. I think part of me is just really praying for a Cgy/Van match up in the 2nd or 3rd round and I wanted to start the trash talking now.

I've yet to hear any Panthers broadcaster or employee say Bouwmeester with the long e sound except Jacques Martin. Everyone else says "mister" here. But now I'm going to listen for the former.

I seem to remember something about him, after being in the league for several years, finally speaking up and saying that his name had been mispronounced all that time.

Every once in a while I hear someone on TV say bouw-MEEEESTER which always sounds so odd after hearing BOUW-mister all the time. Maybe I hear BOUW-meester now and again but definitely with stress on the Bouw.

Yeah, we were talking about that a few pages back. I think the thread is just too big.

Just have to click it twice. Click it on the main page, then again on the page you are on. Annoying, but it works.

But you don't have to do that for any other thread.

Nope. But you don't have 3 mysterious ghost pages on any other thread either.
