Going to the bar with a girlfriend is no fun. The end.
Agreed. My buddy recently came to Victoria for a visit and we hit up a club that my girlfriend likes to go to while she was at home. I hate clubs but we actually had an okay time. I got home and she was a little upset because she always wants to go dancing but I never go to the clubs. There's a reason for that beyond the fact that I don't like dancing.
I'm kinda glad I'm not the only person who doesn't like going to clubs. Everyone outside of people who don't drink thinks I'm weird because I don't go to clubs
I'm going to see my daughter play basketball this afternoon ... she's in the zone finals. This is her Grade 12 year so it's probably my last chance to see her play. I already saw her final high school band concert earlier this year. Where the hell has the time gone? Scary. All you young CP parents, savour the time you have with your kids when they're young. I know it's a cliche, but you're going to blink and they're going to be adults. It seems like only last week that the doc handed her to me in the delivery room. She's developed into a beautiful, talented, passionate and compassionate person though. I can't wait to see what she does with her life.

That's what they do alright. There's a few plateaus along the way, but for the most part they go through a steady string of phases and changes. Each is unique, so try to take the time to note each phase and enjoy it as it goes speeding by.
I decided to stay home to read and watch TV last night, and it felt good at the time and I feel great today.
I think I'm finally growing up.
I was exhausted last night, played a couple of games of NHL 09. Lost, got frustrated and threw the control against the wall. At this point I thought it might be good to get some sleep.
