Anyway, minutes after she told me that, the place got busy so I have no idea if she was just being nice or she found my lack of a mullet alluring.

Women are crazy. The girl I'm dating texted me today to make sure I wasn't at the gym so she could go without fear of running into me.

I sometimes wonder if Rico Fata has any idea of the legacy he has on CP.

If he ever googles his name he does. We all know CP comes up as the top result of almost every google search

I think Jiri or Bingo should get him on CP Radio. As he is in Europe I think we could all chip in for the international call.

Neither "FATA" or "RICO FATA" in google searches has anything from CP on the first page.

Me too.
I always read every post however, even at the bottom of the page, whatever thread I'm in.

it always surprises me when I look back at when things happened, ie trades, hiring and firing on the flames, the older I get it seems the all happened years ago

That is strange.
The first CP reference I can see is on p3, and it is relatively recent - the "Fata Nazi" thread.

I had a cabbie this week that wanted me to sit in the front seat instead of the back which I found kind of odd. I kind of regretted the decision after I got in and discovered that he must be kind of short because I was practically wedged into front seat with my knees pressed against the dashboard. Since it was a bench seat across the front I didn't want to yank the seat back and yank him back while he's driving.

I am just back from a trip to the mall, where I was quite proud of myself as I thought I found some good deals. I bought a bunch of TV DVD sets on sale for $20. I got home and, for kicks, wanted to check out the regular price of the DVDs. I peeled the sale sticker off and two of them were actually cheaper than the sale price. I hate Futureshop.

Isn't it kind of illegal to claim a sale price that's higher then a regular price?

I don't know if it's illegal, but it's pretty crappy. The odd thing about it as well was that when he rang up one of the sets, it actually came up at around 30 bucks and he had to switch it to the sale price of $20. But the original sticker said 14.99.
I really do hate Futureshop. I am very distraught over it. I wish I had checked in the store.
