Jim Rome is awesome. I don't get a chance to listen to him regularly anymore but his show is hilarious if you listen regularly. Thinking about his take on the OJ 911 call still makes me chuckle.

Jim Rome is the man! He's one of the only major US sports personalities that talks hockey regularly as well as booking interviews with a number of hockey players.

Plus his show is awesome and hilarious.

So I'm really pumped for tomorrow's game in Ottawa... I will be donning the Flames Jersey... I don't think the friend that I'm going with know that I'm a flames fan though... but apparently his girlfriend is (I don't know his gf)... he's scared that she'd be mad at him when he goes to the game without her... LOL

Yep, he's great. I can't stream at work so I download the podcasts. I get some pretty weird looks from my co-workers when I'm just sitting there cracking up. The Yakety Sax bits from the last few days have been killer.

I love Jim Rome. Sure he is the king of dead air, but it is needed for his style. I would know nothing about the NBA or NFL if it wasn't for listening to that show. He makes something I couldn't care less about interesting enough that I will listen to it for 3 hours.

So I am up in my CEO's office today fixing a minor driver issue on his laptop befoe he gets in, when I notice on his desk is legal paperwork discussing my company's plans to act as a staking horse bidder in an American company's (whom we are in the process of buying) chapter 11 bankruptcy plans.

For the first time in my life, I hate insider trading laws!

Do you still have to pay to download his podcasts? That kind of frosted my flakes a while back but I haven't looked in to alternative means of listening to his show. I'm usually kind of busy when his show normally broadcasts but definitely enjoy it whenever I can catch it.
