I've only been there for tournaments. Both times the Sharks were on the road so I"m not sure. Seems the Flames are more strict about fans attending practices than the teams in the States.

I just watched "Silent Killer" starring Dolph Lundgren on TV. The cover is Dolph in smoke with a big gun and alot of bullets. I thought it'd be the crappiest action movie I've ever watched but I freaking love it. This is one of the few films I can say that I actually want to own (but apparentely, there's no good DVD release).
It's a B flick but seriously, it's filmed gorgeously and looks great and that always is most important to me in films. It was directed by the guy who made Highlander and I think he started off as a music video director or something. This film has great cinematography and composition and lighting and mood and great set design (a big unfinished skyscraper in Montreal or something). It's about a sniper and his spotter (a beautiful girl of course).
The plot was ambiguous and kind of not explained but I don't care. It looks great, and the girl was great, and the movie was really off the wall at times too (some guy on coke sees crappy CG spiders walking around the walls). It just felt really like classic 80s direct to video action merged with a bigger budget and quintessential 90s style that makes it more than an action movie.
I don't know why I liked it so much but I can't stop thinking about it. I just looked up Dolph on Wikipedia and wow, the guy has a Masters in Chemical Engineering and had a Fullbright Scholarship to M.I.T. WHAT THE HECK???

I can't stand posts that lack punctuation they're not even worth trying to decipher it makes me think that the person writing it dropped out of school although people that I know that have dropped out of school even know how to mix in a comma and a period every once in awhile I just dont understand why people bother to write something out that is so difficult to read and how they can't even see how bloody brutal it is to read when someone else writes like that do they think that their post is even being read because I know I don't bother reading them

I cant stand the single giant block posts with nothing resembling a paragraph.
As a result, I tend to break my posts into 1-2 lines at a time, which I think is pretty poor form in terms of any sort of writing style, but at least it doesn't make me want to cut my own eyes out.

Oh man... I was just reading a thread in the fire on ice forum and one poster who shall go unnamed just constantly writes out all his thoughts in one long sentence. I just don't even bother reading his posts anymore.
And the giant paragraphs are just as bad. As soon as I see a giant paragraph I skip the post. Call me a snob if you must, I really don't care. I just wont read your post.

It still amazes me how f'ing lazy people are at Tim Hortons. Heading to work, I really wanted an ice cap. So, I pull into the parking lot at 130th Ave, and count 22 cars in line, snaked out on to the road, waiting for the drive thru. Walk inside, and there is NOBODY there. I was in, got a bagel and an ice cap, and out before TWO cars had gone through the drive thru.
Ahh well, at least all of those lazy bastages saved me a ton of time!

That sucks. From what I know of you from your posts, I'm sure it's for the right reasons and you'll find the one that was meant to be.

Lost the lid to my travel mug I use for coffee everyday.
Now I need to find a new one that will keep my coffee piping hot for hours.

That's why I usually keep my laptop on mute. But I hate when I want to listen to something, turn off the mute and I get a couple different audio streams playing. Did I mention that I tend to have too many browser tabs open at once?

If I'm surfing the net at home, I usually have music playing on my laptop, so it'd just be a pain to have to pause the song just to mute the audio and come back to the song after the audio is off.

How the hell can Elkund (who got his moniker by initially claiming to be Pelle Eklund) chastise a blog for assuming that someone impersonating Brian Burke was actually Brian Burke?

I thought that seeing some chick wear a toque while working out last week was stupid but today I witnessed something in the gym that was far more idiotic. Some fool was running on the treadmill while chewing bubble gum and blowing bubbles. He also had his tearaway pants tucked into his white socks but that was more of a fashion faux pas then pure idiocy.

Speaking of fashion faux passes (pases?)... At yesterday's Roughnecks game, we were sitting above some greasy, middle aged, balding guy wearing sweat pants with "M R C" embroidered on his backside. I wanted to ask him if he actually raided his daughter's dresser for those pants.
Seriously... no dude should ever be wearing anything with lettering across the ass.
