Whats that old saying....Don't sh|t where you eat or something like that.
If you break up, which will happen because you were see each other way too much, it will be A) Awkward B) You will have to quit C) She will have to quit.
I did this and there is no benifit to this except BJ's in the backroom

I think after reading this thread, she has to be "The One" for it to be okay and work out. Otherwise, one of you will have to leave. The only positive stories are the ones in which the couple end up married.

Isn't the old saying, "never dip in the company ink" ?
Regardless, I'd say you're probably right and its not a good idea, unless you're a student working a meaningless part-time job.

I think the answer is ultimately up to you. It's a question of whether you really need or really love your job. If not, go for it - life's too short. However, if you're really into your job, there's just no way you should risk it.

Heh, you're so right - if I had taken the suggestion of one of my co-workers a few years ago and installed a couple of cameras... Yep, yep, ... still driving a civic.

I worked at a big law firm in Vancouver, where the staff and lawyers were forced to eat in seperate cafeterias, because of too much office hanky-panky. One lawyer had been married 4 or 5 times, each time to his new secretary.

For what? Banging in the copy room?
I'd never date a guy at work. Dating is hard enough without the guy boasting about it to OUR co-workers. I just hide in my corner and read CP. Don't want to be the subject of office gossip!

I met my ex-wife at work.
I met my new wife at work.
Currently, I work in the same company with my ex-wife.
Everyone's happy.
Not sure this helps you.

I wouldn't want to spend that much time with one person. Going to work is kind of a break espcially if something is not right in the relationship. If you do try this start looking for a new job now. Whether it works or not one of you will eventually need to find new employment.

I think the "dont shat where you eat" is good advice too. Maybe not relevant to this thread but a good thing to live by regardless....

No, it was a tale of jealousy and revenge that led to me and my chickie getting set up by a scheming whore who was hellbent on seeing our demise. The girlfriend and I were happy and it made this other girl so angry! It just ate her up inside. But we got the last laugh, because in the end we exposed the setup and got paid out by the company. Then I saw the other girl at the Sun and Salsa festival outside of Booster Juice and I laughed at her.
