As a person who works for Rawlco Radio,I can say that I am pleasantly surprised with the 2 latest station licenses we've acquired.

The Jazz station in Edmonton, and now this Folk/Acoustic station in Calgary.

Now I just need to find a job at one of them so I can get out of Saskatchewan.

92.9 extreme sounds like it'll be similar to 102.9 Sonic up here in edmonton. You may now all rejoice and thank the lord for this wonderful station.

Did these start as of Sept 1? I don't have a radio handy to check.

Nope
Within the next year or so I would expect to have most of them on the air...CHUM and New Cap already have the facilities so they have the advantage.
