More ammunition than what they had this year with Trump? I guess saying a judge can't be trusted because he is Mexican, calling for a foreign country to hack US government computers and making numerous sexist remarks in public aren't quite enough for the Dems...

The reporter with the pic confirmed the clothes, but wasn't the one who claimed he was there partying, just said that he was there, so I don't know what he's upset about with her. http://www.mediaite.com/online/scarb...ed-with-trump/

Seems like Scarborough's beef is that he did not attend the party, and instead is suggesting he was merely present at the party. How dare anyone report he was in attendance!

Love this fake out by Trump. "Hey look in Tweet 1 I'm gonna suggest I'm not happy about gutting the ethics committee....but the continuation in Tweet 2 shows I actually don't cate they gutted it, I just care they gutted before the other things. Gut it after fellas, we need to keep that dupe up" (also learn 2 thread...)

With all that Congress has to work on, do they really have to make the weakening of the Independent Ethics Watchdog, as unfair as it

Oh and the media is predictably getting on it's knees for the money shot, already saying "Trump blasts/destroys/torches" GOP for OCE, despite obviously not even remotely being the case. He's gonna lie with impunity, and with the media desperate to not lose their ratings, they aren't challenging him. Sad times ahead America.

Bahahahahaha so this whole thing was badly scripted reality episode, GOP now giving up on gutting the Ethics office. Whole Presidency is gonna be one really badly scripted reality show. Unfortunately it can't get cancelled.

This was a manufactured stunt by the GOP.
Trump will now claim it was him that forced Congress to reverse the decision.

Surprises me, mostly that Fox didn't make it impossible for her to go anywhere by giving her whatever she wants... She's already their second most watched anchor and O'Reilly can't stay around forever. She should have been the heir apparent to be the face of the network. Wonder if that's NBC's plan for her or if they're just poaching.

They're cancelling a $1.6b new plant in Mexico. They're still shifting production of the Focus to Mexico from the US, but are shifting it to an existing plant instead of a new one. And it sounds like that's in response to declining sales not making a new factory worth it:

'Ford Chief Executive Mark Fields said the decision to cancel the new Mexico factory was in part related to the need to "fully utilize capacity at existing facilities" amid declining sales of small and medium sized cars such as the Focus and Fusion.'

Also sounds like the $700m is to tool up for new more advanced products:

'Fields said Ford will build a battery electric SUV with a 300-mile driving range at the Michigan plant by 2020 -- taking on companies like Tesla Motors Inc (TSLA.O), Volkswagen AG (VOWG_p.DE) and GM -- and will launch production there by 2021 of a fully autonomous vehicle without a steering wheel or a brake pedal for use in ride services fleets.'

Doesn't hurt to spin it to sound like it's in support of Trump, Ford is probably salivating at what a new Republican tax scheme will do to their pockets.

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-fo...-idUSKBN14N1EO

Like with the Congress ethics thing, even the "anti-Trump" media still give Trump the headlines he wants which make it seem like he's 100% responsible for effects that happen after he says or tweets something.

Trump also tweeted today about GM bringing in the Cruz in tax free from Mexico, and he's mostly wrong again as the sedan Cruz which is what sells in the US is made in the US. The hatchback which hardly sells in the US (2.4% of Cruz sales in the US are Mexican hatchbacks) but is more an international product is made in Mexico. If Trump imposed a duty then GM would simply stop offering the hatchback in the US. They're not going to move an entire plant to the US to sell a few thousand more cars in the US while making the product more expensive for the international market.

I'd guess that Kelly wouldn't have stayed at Fox for any price. Maybe if they'd just given her ownership of the entire network.

Well to be fair, the Ford CEO said the move was indeed as a result of Trump's policies (not entirely, of course), so its a bit disengenious to discount his policies are already having an impact on companies leaving

Quote:
Fields also endorsed "pro growth" tax and regulatory policies advocated by Trump and the Republican-led Congress. "This is a vote of confidence for President-Elect Trump and some of the policies he may be pursuing," Fields said.
The GM move is, like everything with Trump, less about the specific Cruze model, and more of letting GM know they're next in the crosshairs.

Look at the outcomes with tweets/statements just like that with Ford, Carrier, Boeing, Lockheed, etc. He gets results

Of course they're going to praise "pro growth" tax policies, pro growth meaning pro profits. Or maybe this time the profits will trickle down. Everyone knows praising Trump is worth more than anything to him, words are cheap and easy.

"We didn't cut a deal with Trump. We did it for our business," Fields told CNN's Poppy Harlow in an exclusive interview Tuesday.

http://www.newschannel5.com/news/nat...00-new-us-jobs

His results are him taking credit for things that were already happening, or people saying nice things after Trump targets them from his bully pulpit. Or a few jobs here and there which look nice but don't have any real impact on the whole economy.

No kidding right? I can see the Trump tweet now:

"Obama will step down by January 20th or consequences will never be the same"

The man gets results!

Those job savings weren't happening without Trump. Sure Trump didn't force their hand or strike a deal, but saying it would have happened anyways is, again, not giving credit where it is due. His policies changed their business decision, exactly as he wanted them to.

And of course they are doing it in support of profits, that is exactly how every business makes literally every decision, and how they should make every decision. Their feduciary duty lies with the shareholders, not to Mexico, free trade, the US, or any one market. Chaseing the almightly buck is everything they ought to be doing.

I still think one of the most valuable documents in the world is the Trump supporter mailing list. If you're a prosperity preacher or Kevin Trudeau, how is that list not worth billions? You can obviously make tens of billions of people who clearly believe anything and aren't particularly bright at critical thinking. Probably sells it on his last day in office, which is smart I suppose. But that ####er might be worth more than the entire Trump organization.

Interview with Ford CEO, he says they're cancelling the plant in Mexico because of a marked decline in demand for small vehicles

http://www.cnbc.com/2017/01/03/ford-...not-trump.html

Wait, he said they've created 28,000 jobs over the past 5 years. That's when Obama was president, with Obama's policies, that must be fake news.

So Trump creates 700 jobs, he's a genius and must be respected. Obama creates 40 times as many jobs....he must be a God no?
