HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... If she wasn't Chinese then she had it coming. I don't know why people think that because something is written in another language that makes it cool to tattoo on themselves.

Not a grand prnk; but fun never the less...... scotch tape the guy's phone receiver down. He won't notice it until he tries to make/receive a call, and if it's when his phone is ringing it's even funnier.

Heres a messy prank. Freeze a can of shaving cream, then take into the office and use a can opener to open the end. Do this at the end of the day and put the opened frozen can of shaving cream in someones desk drawer. Then overnight as the shaving thaws it expands and fills the drawer. If you don't hate the person I would make sure there is nothing important in the drawer.

that's good and all, but I mean, if you wait 'till they leave anyways, why not just go and spray the whole can in the drawer instead of going to all the trouble to freeze / cut it. That seems way easier to me.

I covered the optical lens on my boss' mouse with transparent tape. He replaced the mouse figuring it was dead. He just grabbed a used mouse to replace it with. It wasn't a good mouse to begin with so he got mad at it and bashed it with his fist and replaced it with a new mouse. He figured the ps2 port was going so he got a usb mouse... next time he steps out of the office I'm going to tape the optical lens on the latest mouse.

Just checked the print room, paper is gone. One aspect I wasn't aware of until last time is if you print the page directly off the net the web address shows on the paper (duh) including 'prank' in the pathway. It must have had at least a 5 hour run, but is gone now.

Last time I checked it was sitting prominently on top of the copier, defying everyone in the company to solve its apparent logical disconnect.

Tomorrow: mouse-tape.

One that I've been doing recently (last week or so) is just tape down the person's phone receiver button thingy. That way, when someone calls, they grab the phone "Mike here..." and the phone just keeps on ringing. After repeated "hello? hello?", people tend to start hitting that button. Too funny when they realize they're hitting the tape.

3:15 marks 3 hours. It is now face up in on the table right next to the copier. I forgot about it for a while then had a good laugh when I just passed the copier station!!

A good addition to this prank is to set their mouse speed to as slow as possible. It'll take them that much longer to figure anything out.

We modified the login script of one the other IT staff that had got another job and was working his last night to download a 1GB file everytime he logged on. He spent the whole night trying to solve why it was taking him 20 minutes to login on every computer he went to.

Another one you can do is to modified the host file in windows so his favorite web sites point to calgarypuck.com.

I just had a good prank pulled on me by my boss in retaliation for the tape on the optical lens of the mouse.

Open the Control Panel and double click on accesibilty options

check of the "Use Filter Keys" box and then select "Settings" and then select "ignore repeated key strokes" and chose "settings" again. Select to ignore repeated key strokes faster than 2.0 seconds.

They'll think they need a new keyboard.
