Default The fascination of Planet X

This is growing like weeds on youtube, hundreds of vids and millions of comments, For those living in a bubble essentially our sun is suppost to have a companion star with a 3600 year orbit and is due back in 2012, The Mayan calendar predicted this and also ends in Dec 2012 abruptly.

Personally I have seen so many doomsday dates come and go that I'm 100% sure Dec 2012 will end up the same but some of this talk sure is an interesting look and is downright entertaining.

Heres a few vids on the subject but there are many many more.

Umm... if there was a companion 'star' due to be in the neighbourhood in 3 years, wouldn't we be able to see it? It' have to be either, really small, really dim, or moving really fast if there was a star due to come close in 3 years and we couldn't see it now.

Actually, maybe search youtube for those answers. not saying it's true but they have said for about 5 years now we wouldn't be able to see it for another year or so...Hubble probably could but that's about it.

How would we not be able to see a star getting closer?

some of this stuff is pretty nerve wracking. It makes me kinda nervous to hear the science behind this stuff rather than the Mayan calendar stuff

The one I watched seemed to imply a star, but I may have heard it wrong. The thing about the science on this stuff is that, if you haven't studied it, then they can say almost anything and have it be believable because we don't really understand it.

The Mayan Calendar and Mayan prophecy has no mention whatsoever of Planet X. Just wanted to clear that up.

Actually it is supposed to be a star but a brown dwarf star (faint i guess) with planets. the Sumerian tablets apparently explain this.

Not Planet X itself but pole shifts/great disasters leading up to the END in Dec 2012

Which may be even worse, because you understand some of it and it looks like it makes sense.
